Group Member does not have access to DLC - (Battlegrounds) but they do

When our group of three queued for Battlegrounds we get the error message "A group member does not have access to the DLC".
We were all standing in Vvardenfell when we were attempting to queue, so all clearly had the DLC.
So with one character stuck in a group unable to leave it and now unable to access Battlegrounds despite having it.
I know the group bug is being worked on, but come on how did QA miss these issues?
Seems to be a bit of a recuring theme with patches and is almost expected, which is just a shame.
