Boat for Morrowind problem

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasea?
I really want to enter Morrowind with the boat, just like I did it 15 years ago in the original TES3!
But that seems to be the problem, since boat drops me off at the Gold Coast... blah
Any help?

Best to start a new character if you want that.
As for the boats, not sure if I can help you, I have yet to login today.
