Good Duo Combos

So, Im totally sick of Zerg surfing and ulti/cc spamming clusters that not even the best players can do much about. My brother and I mostly just group together as a duo anyway, and want to get better at playing as a team and hitting smaller groups. At our disposal we have all classes, and are not necessarily apposed to doing race changes to switch from stam to mag. So what are some of the better combos out there? Is it best to go tank and dd or healer and dps or healer/dd+tank/dd, and what are some good sets that synergize well with two people and are worth the support traits. Thanks!

Heals + DD leaves healer vulnerable
Tank + DD can result in tank watching as you die
Heals tank means they have to deal with tank while you dd.0 -

The magplar can supplement all of the DKs weaknesses while the DK offers nice aoe pressure and works as an anchor for the Templar to work around. Both can also easily run destro staff for stacking destro ults7 -

Depends entirely on the stamina sorcs setup from my experience.
Any heavy armor setup can be a hybrid between tank and dps (you won´t be as durable as a DK or templar though but more mobile). Medium armor is a dps setup.
Magsorc would in 99% of the cases be light armor and damage/support.<Noricum>

✭Stamina Templar and magicka Templar are going to be mean. POL and PL stack. 20k unblockable burst. Best part of, the damage inflicted counts for both versions. So do 5k dmg, it essentially gets copied for both. At that point you can eclipse the healer and radiant oppression/execute freely. Gg0 -

✭✭✭My fav is Msorc mdk this combo is deadly dk can hold down players debuff and offer support dps sorc stays in the back giving healing ward and dishing out the damage.
It's nice to have a class with an execute running with a class that does not have one. I think the play style of a msorc and the play style of a mdk just fit so well.Edited by FloppyTouch on 17 May 2017 05:080 -

This, what role you take? Both are dd and tank, you gotta be able to take or avoid damage while also having the ability to dish it out, regardless of what class in pvp:

agreed for solo and duos. I'm just curious if one person could take say a healing tank build using that set that transfers some damage from the dd to the tank. Then that leaves the dd free to focus more on damage mobility and heals.

well then you want 2 stam classes, 1 using troll king and the other using pirate skeleton, each using a different morph of vigor so it stack, then the pirate skeleton will use mystic guard where the other will use an extra 2 dots
