Snare is a slow and root is a stuck in one position. I think.
Disorient might be a knock down. I believe it gets applied by (sorc) rune prison.1 -

✭Disorient is a stun that goes through block but is broken by any damage dealt to the stunned target. Sorcs runeprison is a skill that disorients a target, and has the unique morph option ti make it so DoTs dont break the disorient.Jo'Khaljor0 -

found all the definitions on esoacademy.com ...turns out disorient is a longer disable (unable to perform any actions)...
