Stamplar PVP Build Ideas

Thinking of making a Stamplar and leveling it through Cyrodiil so it would mainly be played in BWB. Any gear/build suggestions?

For stamina characters I almost always start with Hundings Rage as the best generic starter set. From there I can get an idea where a character is strong/weak and consider their second set, or even replacing the Hundings.

Black rose is currently a really decent stamplar set. They're rough on resources, so as a regen set it's helpful. Vipers sting is a good set. And because they do a lot of in your face fighting, fasalla's guile can be lethal.

Whichever you choose, you might consider eating before you put too many resources into the gear. The stamplars are a red flag to me for update 14. They're already tough on resources...I'm not sure how the changes are going to impact them. They might need much more regen-oriented sets, but I think we'll have to see what the final patch notes are and how that plays out.

If you are leveling, then crafted sets are what you want. Save you AP and wait to farm dropped sets until CP160.

For your 5 piece, I second the suggestion for Hundings Rage. Because you will be running crafted sets, you'll top out at a 5 piece bonus and then a 4 piece bonus (7 armor + SnB/DW). So for the other set, go Night's Silence. It is super easy to craft (2 traits); all its 2, 3, and 4 piece bonuses are solid; and if you want, you can make a "sneak bar" where you swap out your front bar SnB/DW which both have Hundings for 2 hand weapon with Night's Silence on your back bar and take advantage of the 5 piece detection radius bonus it offers.

I'm doing this right now on Xbox NA server. Made him cause I wanted to give stamplar a second chance (made a redguard before but ended up race changing him to argonian and making him a healer cause I didn't like how Stamplar was playing)
I think the obvious choice is hundings for all around decent set but I'm also considering clever alchemist backbar and then full hundings on damage bar. I'm getting meteor on him now, cause who doesn't like a binding spear to the face followed by a meteor while knocked on the ground then empowered crit rush into execute? I am struggling with resources however, but for BWB I don't see the point in farming sets every 10 levels ya know? Just stick with crafted and random rings from doing your daily random dungeon

    2h/S&B
You won't be able to use full hundings and full alchemist unfortunately cause you'll have 8 slots on 2h side and 9 slots on S&B side. Maybe a better way to go is to use hundings and night mothers :/

I stick to Xbox NA Azura's Star. In the no-CP modes, sustain sucks for Stamplar and is going to get worse. I still enjoy the class however.

Hopefully with stam regen mundus and dubious camronian food regen will be decent?

5pc willows path, 3 pc night mothers gaze and then try to pick up a relative decent, inexpensive, easy to find 3pc non vet jewelry set that you can keep up while you level...i use warrior's fury

5 twice born and 3/4 morkuldin is good if you can craft 9 trait. Twice born doesn't lose effectiveness on the 5th piece when you level up is why I like it.

    That's actually a solid idea
