Only One Proc Set At A Time Please

I think proc sets are cool, but for the sake of balance I think that proc sets should be limited to one per build. Its too easy to run Eternal Hunt+Viper+Selenes, or Viper+Tremorscale or whatever other cancer builds exist out there. Imo its perfectly reasonable to allow only one proc set per build. This would certainly be fine in PvE as most people only run a monster set, and it would greatly help to eliminate cancer gank or tank builds in pve.

Why would you consider Eternal Hunt in the proc category, its a built in trap beast or daedric mine activated by resource cost.

Ganking is a playstyle.. tanking is a playstyle, big dumb brute heavy armor uppercut spam with immovable and dodge chance is a playstyle.. Shield stacking is a playstyle.

Granted they're all relatively the easier things to pull off but hey! That's PvP, go with the easiest most efficient set up.

I'm not sure why people want only their playstyle to be validated in this game, maybe the damage and resistance scaling is out of wack and needs to be adjusted.

Only way to do that would be that all direct damage procs over all sets share a common cooldown.

That again only works if durations are all aligned or if the cd is independant of duration (the latter then resulting in double procs still possible if using e.g. Stormfist and Viper, DoT and Instant Damage).

The multiple sets are part of what makes ESO so versatile and fun. I'm not sure I want to live in a Tamriel without that brand of whackiness.

But here's the larger issue - I run a gank pvp build. I don't get my kills because of multi-proc sets. I get them because everyone PLAYS THE SAME. Everyone walks around in the open. Everyone enters the breach the same way. They even make the breaches in the same damn place every time. They all leave a capture in the same pattern. I don't need proc sets to know exactly where the one blue is going to go to mess around with the siege merchant while his friends wander off and...smush.

Tonight I took a resource and watched an enemy come barreling down the same road in the same way SEVEN times in a row. I killed him every time...at 4K AP per kill I was happy to...even if I felt a little sorry. The point is that my cancerous ganking would be a lot less effective if players employed even the slightest bit of strategy. A few do. Most don't.

If it was up to me, Id not have proccsets for pvp at all. Its an action/reaction pvp system and invisible dmg such as viper etc does not belong there. One action and reaction per second etc etc, thats good pvp.
