Stamina NB build for Beginner (Alliance War/Imperial City)

Hello,
I'm just reaching 160 on my first character, a night blade, and I'd like to gear up for PvP, since I'm just getting very easily wrecked in it. I already watched a couple videos on Youtube, but I was looking for some help on gearing up without gold equips, which I don't have the money for ATM.

I'm looking to play mostly alliance war and imperial city with a stamina NB. What do you suggest as:
- Health/magicka/stamina?
- Where to spend champion points?
- Mundus stone?
- Equips to start with (I'm skilled in 1h and medium armor crafting)

Any good guide one this will also be appreciated. Thanks!

If you play 2h/bow you can start with 5 Air (3 jewels + 1 armor piece + bow defensive trait) and 5 hunding rage (4 armor piece + 2h sword sharp). Air is dirty cheap and hunding can be crafted. For monster set I suggest Velidreth (do pledge to drop shoulder from chest and cradle of shadow for helmet). Five impenetrable + 2 well fitted is a decent belance. You can run the Health+Stamina+Stamina recovery food. There are better setup but this one is decent enough to start pvp and learn stamina nb mechanics. Bow is you defensive bar and Air set provvide a nice dps boost when you roll dodge/cloack/attack. Learn to use shadow image. You don't have many CP so I suggest you start do pvp in Azura.

Alcasthq.com has good builds, and he always discusses setups for, players who have fewer CPs or easier to get sets.

Nightblades in pvp are challenging to learn. But it's all I play because they're also really fun. Right now, you can create a lethal bow build. This might be a good option for a pvp newbie. Bow builds can earn you a TON of AP killing from walls. In a group they're ok...as long as your group keeps people off you. I'd say turn on your combat text and experiment...it takes a while to learn how to get your hits to be as effective as possible, and how they affect different classes differently.

I generally agree with Alcast's build. 5 marksman plus 5 hawks eye plus one kraghs is a great setup. As a new pvper, you're probably going to want 4-7 piece of impenetrable. These sets are pretty cheap...you should be able to pick purples up in guild stores for under $5k per piece if you shop around. And if you like, feel free to start with 5 Hundings Rage instead of hawks eye. It's not quite as good, but the Hundings is something you can wear in pve. I made a gold Hundings set when I turned c160, and I still use it.

For CPs, again the alcast guide is spot on. Recovery in greens, mighty in blue, defense from physical and magic in reds. But watch the guides and forums...update 14 might make some changes necessary.

If you're PS4 NA and want to do small group NB pvp, feel free to send me a friend request. I run with a friend...a small group of NBs can cause a lot of trouble, lol.

I DW/Bow so the old favourites for me:

    Armour
    5 x Hundings (Max Stamina / Medium / Impen)
    2 x Velidreth (1 Heavy, 1 Medium)

Jewellery (Robust with Wep Dmg Enchants)
    3 x Agility

Weapons (Sharpened with Wep Dmg Enchants)
2 x NMG or Leki's (Crit or Dmg)
    Any Sharpened Bow

    Atrributes
    20 points into Health
    44 (?) into Stamina
    Thief or Warrior Mundus

    CP
    Warlord/Mooncalf
    Hardy/Elemental Defender
    Mighty/Precise Strikes

    Other
I am also level 4 vamp for full speed sneakiness.
You'll need Vigor for heals and Rapids for speed/escape so get your Alliance Skill Lines maxed asap

Some good advice here so far, one thing I will tell you is that you absolutely need gold weapons - you will have a really hard time killing anyone without them.

Yes - do daily writs and work quickly toward gold weapons. The power jump is huge. Armor is less imperative to make gold, amd you can take your time.

Builds are nice, but at CP 160 you're just going to die a lot in PvP, especially as a Stamblade. These would be my priorities:

1 - Vigor. In Cyrodil chat say LFG. If there aren't any groups keep buying keep and door repair kits and repair every chance you get. This is a way to basically convert gold into CP.
2 - Vampire for endless sneak and getaway skills
3 - Practice using shade and fear combos in duels.

Bow is a good option open world in Cyrodil. You can aid a group and keep your distance from hard-hitting opponents. But I've found bows to be of much more limited use in Imperial City or Sewers. Distances are shorter and when you snipe someone you are almost never at max range like you can be in overland.

    Add vitality pots.
    Seriously.

Nobody expects a stamblade to be able to heal reliably and effectively. When they do they're twice as dangerous.
