Looking for active social PvE Guild

A couple friends and myself are looking for a friendly, active, and social PvE guild for Pledges, dungeon runs, maybe a few trials, and just general fun. The only hitch being, that we would like a guild that is really active on VOIP (Disc perferably, but TS3 etc work too)

We are really not too picky, other than the voice thing. As long as the guild has a friendly atmosphere we would be happy.

Hey Sticx! Deviant Revelations is a PVX guild for new/returning/casual players with knowledgeable officers and helpful guildmates. We have a website with forums, event calendars, etc., a Discord server for voice/text chat, and a list of weekly events that we rotate through. Also, we have members ranging from the East Coast to Australia. If you're interested, please message me in game @Draughluin.
Into the fray once more, for guild, gold, and glory!

Wondering if you had any finding the white elephant (a social guild with an active VOIP community)? I've been looking for several months for exactly this kind of guild, but I certainly haven't found one yet. Oh, I've found friendly, active and helpful guilds, no doubt, but are they VOIP active? Not so much. Seems this kind of guild is more easily found on the consoles than PC.

Nope, haven't found one yet. The most active VOIP guild I've found is Deviant Revelations, which had around 5 people online last night.

Generally, people log onto a VOIP channel when there's something shaking like a group event or similar. Otherwise, they want to be able to listen to the game (whether that's the music or the dialogue or whatever), and basically enjoy what they're doing. They don't want to have people going on for hours and hours in their ear about nonsense. I recognise that some people really like doing that, and they want an audience to listen to them going on about nothing, but most people aren't too interested in that kind of thing. Long story short, you'll find most guilds with a VOIP channel have those channels come alive, bigtime, when something's happening. But if nothing's happening, most people really don't want to be tuned in. So the best time to judge any guild is when there's some dungeons or trials on, or whatever, not just at random times of the day, IMHO.

I agreed that MOST people are like that, but I know a fair few who aren't. In particular I have several friends who are heavy crafters and like to sit and BS with others while doing what is an otherwise mindless activity. They could care less about the PvP aspect of the game, and don't like the "rush and get this done" and/or "heavily choreographed" nature of most group dungeons. Or they have completed Cadwell's gold on several characters and have no interest in hearing the same voice-over for the 4th time.

For example, I know a stay-at-home mom who will farm mats for 4+ hours a day. As she's told me, "You can only listen to politics and news for so long." Or another friend who (after a long day of work) wants to cool down and do something mindless like crafting and farming mats, and enjoys a general BS channel full of inane chatter. He's got 3 toons with 9th trait crafting across all of them, but hasn't done most group dungeons or any trials (nor does he care that he hasn't done them).

As sticx45_ESO mentioned, we have seen such guilds in other MMO's where that kind of player could find a guild home and like-minded players. That's what I think (if I'm not being too presumptuous) the purpose of the original question.

@Siltoneous exactly. When you've run the same vet dungeon a billion times, you don't really need to be heavily in tune with the game sounds, or when farming skyreach, mats, etc. Some times it's just nice to chill out, sit back and bs with friends. Those friendships tend to form better, for me personally, via a voice chat than typing.

You blokes have both given reasons why some people want to do it... and that's great. But it doesn't take away from why many people don't want to do it, either. They are two sides of the same coin. And you're going to find more guilds than not, will be of the kind that come alive during events, but are less active on VOIP for just BSing or keeping people company, etc.
