VMA Lag

Firstly I have completed VMA several times and have a few lightning and one Inferno (still after inferno sharpened). The fact that it is a solo instance and that there is lag makes no sense (yes I know why there is lag there). The fact is the solo instances should not rely on the servers they should be instanced locally on the client. The difficulty is fine just the added modifier of lag can make it near impossible to complete on some days and easy mode on others. Once the lag is fixed maybe even a hard mode?

Please see what you can do, I got frustrated last night and have been playing Skyrim on my X1. I play ESO on PS4.

Wouldn't instancing locally on the client make it vulnerable to hacking/cheating?

Drives me mad too, I'm trying for flawless and playing at the wrong time can make it so much harder.

I'm not excusing my bad play, I need to get gud, but it's sure not helping

On console I don't believe it would be a major issue however on PC I would assume that the system would be more vulnerable to shenanigans. I would assume they could change it so that loading in each round the ai is downloaded and then reviewed at the end of the round to ensure no cheating but I am kinda talking out of my backside here.

I am not perfect either but the lag just makes it impossible at times. Perhaps as another suggestion VMA gets run on a separate server? I made this post not just for bitching but also for ZoS to take a look and potentially fix some of the issues.

For me the lag gets worse with time, around stage 8 or 9 my ping and fps both gets to unplayable level. But after a restart everything goes back to normal again. There must be a major memory leak in the game.
I play on PC Na btw.

Yes, lag in vma especially, out in the world it seems better.
Vma needs a lot of bar swap and button mashings, yet the lag and delayed response is really making it hard to play.

No, no, no...

Absolutely no, we don't need vMA leaderboards to become hacked.

Happens with every single game with client-side hosting (basically every console game ever), and would most definitely happen in an MMO if opened up like this.
