I'm usually the last person to be outraged, but since I enjoy playing ESO and want it to be PLAYABLE NOW . . . well I'm very dismayed some of the issues that have been known since Homestead patch aren't fixed TODAY!!

If this is truly the case then Morrow in better have a perfect launch . . . what a concept . . . fixing bugs before a launch . . . ZOS has a good strategy i.e. create a game then break it with horrible patches then create an expansion that will essentially be another launch of a game that resembles nothing from the original ESO . . . repeat process until the map of Tamruel is filled out.2 -

Actually, I'm becoming a voice of outrage more frequently on this forum, but I feel entitled because of I've been around since Beta, I have always subscribed (except for a 2 month lapse) and I buy crowns on a regular basis so there! And even of I have no just cause to feel entitled then I at least have some justification to be vocal with my concerns for this game as a loyal customer!0 -

Okay, if this patch lays the groundwork for the success of future patches and makes the game consideraby more stable and balanced then I will sing ZOS's praises, but we may have no way of telling if it does.

Yes, data miners get on it (pretty please ) Also yeah, it does seem to be A HUGE SLAP IN THE FACE to players who were expecting some update or fixes to the huge list of problems that came up since homestead. If the servers are more stable and people don't have lag that would be acceptable bUT otherwise it's a bit disengenious to ESO''s player base even if ZOS did nit intend this patch to be that way! 0 -

Oh who am I kidding? Our home province is in a mess, we're being invaded by foreign armies from across Tamriel and Oblivion, we have no leader, our people are skattered, enslaved, or fearful for their lives, we can't join our own legion to help push back Daedric forces or reclaim our Empire and restore peace, you have to pay a few extra £s in order to play as one, and now you mess up our furniture by giving us the wrong style which clashes with the style of the house.
This can't all be coincidental. I think this is clear evidence of Zenimax's inexcusable racism towards my people! This must stop!

malicia✭✭✭✭It wouldn't make sense to fix future bugs without fixing current bugs. Surely they could then fix the future bugs with the next patch that fixes current bugs. The only thing that makes sense to me is if the bug fixes are for content that they plan to release before they plan a next patch.
Another reason might be that the main drive for today's patch was the privacy agreement - if their legal people caught something that might put them at risk, it might warrant a urgent patch,PC, EU

✭✭✭✭These fixes had probably already been made to their internal codebase before homestead went live.. There is timescale involved in making changes to software - and multiple internal versions exists at different stages through that development lifecycle.. Think of it like a conveyor-belt where each changes has to join at the beginning - behind others that are already on it - and will come out at the end after those others. Some changes will be still on paper, some under design, some being built, some being unit tested, some being user tested, some being readied for implementation.
I wouldn't be surprised if the fixes people are complaining about are in the works somewhere..Minalan owes me a beer.
