STAMBLADE BUILD - DRAUGHR HULK

Looking for a bit of advice for stamblade build in PVP

At the moment I am running 5 spriggans/5 hundings rage heavy and 1 monster piece heavy- would swapping out hundings for the draughr hulk set be worth the farming? Ive got sharpened spriggans weapons so just need to get impenetrable armour or draughr jewellery. It would also mean of course loosing 5 heavy if I stick with spriggans and go with draughr. Would the loss of heavy armour benefits be worth the more stamina and getting back benefits of medium? Cheers

You are going to lose Crit and Damage for Stamina?
I don't get it, if you are playing Stamblade you surely need high Crit and Damage.

You'd also lose out on the Agility passive if you use Heavy Armour, so thats another possible 12% damage increase lost as well as Athletics for sneaking and dodge rolling:

My current (usual) set up is standard Hundings/Agility/Velidreth/Leki's Weapons but I sometimes use a Spriggan's/Hundings combo and find it works almost as well. All Medium!

Its good to try things out though, be interested to hear how it works out.

The reason I was looking at this was would the massive stamina gain not be worth more in damage not reflected in your character stats compared to the weapon damage from hundings?

You'd need to do some DPS testing I suppose, the higher stamina will affect the damage done by skills and attacks.

You definitely want to consider 5 medium for that passive though, 12% is a big difference.

    Better than using hundings?

I use Hulking + Automatons on my stamblade and I hit very hard. About 35k max stam and 3100 weapon damage with just rally active. Being in medium means you are going to be pretty squishy, though.

I mean heavy is 200 weapon damage (assuming you're in combat long enough) if you're rocking mostly stam instead of weapon damage losing 12% from athletics isn't that big of a deal since your damage will be coming from stam instead of weapon damage. Also racials help, having more stam if you're nord, imperial, etc means those bonuses affect those extra stats.

Sadly in open world PvP medium is not viable as 2 ultis and you're dead.
