Permablocking - Theorycrafting

Hi all,

I am theorycrafting abit, on how to Permablock in a NO CP Campaign. I was hoping someone with experience could give some advice. To start with, it will be for a MagDK.

Using 3 x Enchants, SB Passive, 7 Sturdy i get my Block Cost calculated down to app. 720 per half second (block phase), making it 1440 to block each second.

On the regen side, 7 Heavy with Black Rose and Bloodthorn and a Potion every 45 sec. should give a theoretical 720 regen per second.

This leaves me 720 resources per second short. Meaning i should be able to block for app. 20 seconds with 15k Stamina. Not counting any CC breaks from Fear etc. etc.

Can anyone with experience on Permablocking weigh in here. At what level of block cost, can you effectively permablock?

Am i missing any obvious ways to either reduce the blockcost, or to gain stamina while blocking?

S&b ulti with bloodspawn to increase ulti regen. 7seconds of projectile reflection, free blocking and stam/mag return. Igneous shield every 6 seconds also gives stam back.

Tbh: 7HA, 2 reinforced (large pieces), the rest impen/sturdy and 2-3 cost reduction enchants.

Especially the impen even in non cp makes a difference in survivability. A lot of people run with 30% crit chance. Also slot the s&b reflect skill( forgot name but gives 8%reduction).

On my magdk with black rose, 5 impen amd 1 block reduction enchant I can block a LOT. If you go full perma block you will hit like a noodle. Black rose and one enchant will block a lot and still allow you to do dmg.
