Spamming Error

Not sending any messages, I got kicked with this error message. Any thoughts?

There are plenty of threads on the subject all the way back to the beta days.

There's one from just yesterday where i wrote the quote below:

The error message is misleading, it has nothing to do with you sending mail or chat messages.

It's your game client sending excessive messages to the game server.
Most likely caused by either an AddOn or simple client/server lag.

@SirAndy thanks man. I searched "spamming" and "spamming error", most of what came up was talking about spam casting and attacks...

Searched "spam error" and you're right, it's ancient news, my bad.

Uninstalling some recent addons to see if that fixes it.

If you receive error 318, it may be disconnected because of excessive messaging.

I assume then getting this on console then means the servers are under fire again.

It had this problem too when i was fencing in an outlaws refuge. Xbox One
