It's to test the impact Cp has on lag / performance. And double AP to get the population up as a true stress test.

Edit: let's think this through. Wards are taking a huge hit, where Hardy and Ele defender were cancelled by Mighty and Ele Expert, very few players put points into the dealing more damage to shields as did players put into bastion. Also lower magicka pool means smaller ward, also increase in cost.

Magicka has higher costs than stamina meaning they'll lose more with the CP loss.

Crit resistance can only now come from armor, and without running transmutation means there is a max of 1750ish? Crit resistance - further incentivizing damage over defense

Heals will be slightly reduced, however dodge roll and CC break cost reduction will only come from medium armor.

All of it makes me think stam based crit damage with a proc set will be meta.

Lich will be very good if you're determined to make magicka work.

I seriously hate the idea of no CP campaigns.

That's how I started PvP, it works until you face a PvP build, then you start taking (this was pre Proxy nerf) 20k Proxy dets to the face.

Actually that's a good point. Week 2 should be no proc sets in PvP, see how that helps. I'd rather have CP than procs.

Good thing I bought me a set of Black Rose to complement my Necropotence...

Anyways, I've been preferring Non CP in PvP lately after (slowly) realizing how bad it is in Cyro. What I mean is that while the CP system is a great feature and enables us to develop and build our chars the way we want to, for PvP it enables us to stack more resources, more damage, more resistances, more regen,... which I think takes the fun away from it. I'd much rather build smarter and more careful than to have the CP make up for the weaknesses.

And if it really is the major cause of the lag, then all the better

Yeah, but it completely removes: Hybrids, Crit Resistance, and essentially every non-crit proc build.

Sustain (i know from previous experience) is extremely important, well free damage from sets alleviates that.

With Crit resistance capped, Crit damage becomes even MORE powerful (and which resource has all the crit? That's right stamina...)

If Im even going to attempt this, Ill have to scrap my hybrid, go pure magicka, run Lich - because it's mandatory and transmutation (so my LA doesn't get two shotted by incap + viper )
