Stam DK build idea

xGhost91x
Hey all. So, I've been trying to think of some different ideas for a stam DK pvp build and I had one in mind. I'm not even sure it would work, but here it goes.

2 X Selene's (I know it doesn't crit anymore but it would still help with burst damage)
5 X Dreugh King Slayer
5 X Hunding's Rage

Weapon bars would be dual wield and sword and board.

On the sword and board bar I was thinking: Shielded Assault, Heroic Slash, Reverberating Bash, Igneous Shield, Resolving Vigor, and Spell Wall.
As for the dual wield bar: Noxious Breath, Blood Craze, Venomous Claw, Bloodthirst, Volatile Armor, and Dawnbreaker of Smiting.

Dreugh King is used for the major brutality buff in place of Rally not being used. Hunding's is there purely for weapon damage. Selene is for burst damage. The basic premise is to gap close with Shielded Assault, apply dots and fracture with Venomous Claw and Noxious Breath, then apply Blood Craze for more DoT and heal and spam Bloodthirst while weaving light attacks to heal, deal damage, and build Ult.

Anyways, that's the idea.

Thought about something similar, but the dot-playstyle didnt work too well for me. Dots arent that strong in pvp. Did you consider Tremorscale instead of Selenes? The tremorscale snare is strong in keeping enemies in melee range and ransack still hits hard with Tremor procc. Idea is to procc Tremor, snare enemy, debuff with bash and finish with ransack spam. But its a bit, dunno, dull...

Played this way with 5 Dreugh, 5 Knights Errant and Tremorscale and still felt that I needed more burst to finish targets off. On the other hand you are very tanky ;) Would love to hear your experience with your build, as i still like the 1h/shield playstyle a lot!

I ran Black Rose, Tremorscale, Agility for a while. It did good damage but felt lacking at times.

Ooh, I had another idea. What about 5 pieces of Warrior's Fury on body, 3 jewelry, sword, and shield of 7th Legion Brute, and 2 piece Tremorscale? I imagine the damage from Tremorscale would be pretty hefty with weapon damage enchants on jewelry and sword and the proc from 7th Legion + the damage stack from Warrior's Fury.

I'm currently running 5 hundings always, 5 black rose on SB (4 active on 2H), and 2 bloodspawn. Basically taking advantage of 1) insane ulti regen from heroic and bloodspawn, and a decent mag pool for igneous shield (always up) as well as constant relsoving vigor. Also using serpent mundus so stam regen is about 1k. I'm playing in azuras but betting this would do ok in cp campaigns as well. It's a lot of wpn swap but so far I'm liking it.

Is Shield Breaker still good? I weave a lot of light attacks. I've never used it so I honestly have no idea.

If you sue S&B Ravaging could be really nice. At the moment I'm in love with heavy tava in PvP (best set for 1vX IMHO) but you need robust jewelry so you can use: 3 jewelry+belt and shoes hulking(or spriggan) sword and shield +chest ,legs and gauntlets ravaging + blood spawn.

Or wait for the jester festival and run ravaging and bone pirate+max health max stam stamina recovery drink: OP

Just put on your cancer set and let the hate messages roll in.

    Tremorscale/viper/anyother5piecesetbecausethisbuildisbrokenashell

I just mash 1 button then tell people I'm good because "anyone can grind and use these sets" and "they were added into the game so they are fair". To be honest though I fingerbang one button on my controller so much my index finger is getting arthritis. I have to push through the pain and that's really the challenge of this build. People say it takes no skill, but mannnnnn.... you try spamming RB while responding to hate messages and trying to manage your arthritis pain.

***WARNING! This message should for no reason be taken seriously. Proc builds have been known to cause tendinitis, arthritis, chronic hate messages from 14 yr olds, addiction to one button spamming, increased irratibility towards game mechanics, decreased skill when playing any other type of build or character. Wrobel is not held responsible for any hateful messages or backlash received when playing with proc sets. Any attempt to replicate, distribute, or republish this build will result in immediate backlash from the forum community.***

I actually play with 5 Dreugh, 5 Knight-Errant, and 2 Selene and I dig it.
It's fun. Plus I really just love Bears...so...

I usually play in a group of friends, so we coordinate which skills we'll be using. I'm usually the CC and more tanky guy. So this let's me be survivable and still do enough damage to contribute.
