Hunding's Palatial Hall 'Lover's Leap'

Hunding's Palatial Hall has this raised walkway that extends from the second floor. At the end of the walkway is a platform with a cupola, which is missing a side. There's nothing below the area where there's no stone border, it just drops to the ground below. Could this be repaired or completed? It really does not look like it is intended to be this way.

I have the Palace too and noticed this in the PTS. Was hoping it would be fixed :(

Would be nice if they would complete it, there is no reason to have it as it is that I can see.

Thanks for posting this, I kept forgetting!

Would be nice if there was meant to be a staircase going down somehow, that would be sweet.... but at least a wall.

It doesn't look to me as though a staircase can be added without significantly blocking access to the steps down to the rear terrace which has steps to the beach on its east end. They should add a wall there. In my humble opinion, that observation platform is redundant with the observation tower, so one or the other should be removed from the Homestead. Many players (myself among them) have asked for other changes to this and other Homesteads before its features were released "live", but, frankly, the ZOS development team apparently has other things to do than to do a better job.

I have seen a lot of people use the opening as a path for a walkway or stair case. You can build a lot of stuff with the editor.

I built a spiral ramp (180° turn) from this platform for quick rear access back into the house. Originally it was a staircase, but that proved too unwieldy to jump up, and would have used too many stone to get it under step clearance. I have some temporary guard stones until I find something better aestheticly that keeps me from flying off if I go too fast. Now I just need Tamriel to invent the skateboard.

I feel like it should be a spiral ramp to the roof. There's so much build space up there.

I just build a straight ramp from one of the balconies to the roof, here they are:
