Question on crowns and ESO gold

Ridinghood2000

Soul Shriven
Couple of questions. We have 3 accounts on Xbox One. Never bought crowns. We were considering it, then we researched the ESO gold and saw the DCL 4 pack comes with the game. My question is since we have built up characters on regular ESO if we bought ESO gold will our characters be available or do we have to start new ones with a whole new game? I can get ESO gold for cheaper than 5500 crowns. Second question is if we bought crowns on main account will those crowns be available on all 3 accounts so we can split them for mounts and things like that?

When you buy ESO+ is just adds ESO+ to your account, to all your characters on that account. If you have more than 1 account, you will have to buy ESO+, or crowns, separately for each account.
I use to be a PVP'er like you but then I took a lag spike to the knee.

It's ESO gold I'm looking at. Not ESO plus. If we bought ESO gold and put it in the Xbox one will all the characters that we have already made be loaded into the ESO gold or do we have to make a new account for each profile again? Also have to buy crowns for each profile seperately is that right? Main account will only be for main account..?

At least on PC, ESO Gold is a whole separate account with new characters. You can't buy it to upgrade an existing account. I would expect the same to be true on xb.

Crowns semi-regularly go on sale and so do DLCs. If you're determined to get maximum value for money - and why not - patience can be a virtue.
