Stamplar: Which build, or do they both suck?

For my skill bars, I'd like to go with one of the following linked 2H/DW set ups (2H bar for damage/DW bar for defense):

Damage Shield

Reasoning:
Radiant Ward on the 2H bar can be spammed to mitigate damage and it allows the Aedic Spear passives to be up. I then take Dawn Breaker for my Ulti on the 2H bar. I use Empowering Sweep as my Ulti on the DW bar which adds additional damage reduction and keeps the Aedric Spear passives up.

-or-

Extra Crit

Reasoning:
This option forgoes any mitigation on the 2H bar in favor of crit from Camouflaged Hunter. The 2H bar Ulti is changed Crescent Sweep for Aedric Spear passives and added damage. The Ulti on the DW bar is replaced with Rend for the occasional damage boost and added HoT.

Which option is looks better? Or are both terrible? Thanks!

That was too confusing to read.. so you're using the sun shield or whatever to mitigate damage? No need for camo hunter when biting jabs gives major savagery. Most stamplars use a pretty basic set up if using 2h/bow. Jabs/critrush/reverseslice/rally then option for javelin or uppercut for cc.
Anybody got a group? LFG, anybody? Hello?

    I reformatted.

The skill bars I propose are linked. If any one has a moment to review the linked skill bars, read my reasoning, and provide any help comments, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'm assuming this is for PVE. Right?

The "Extra Crit" build is the better of the two, but still not what I would go with. For one thing, Biting Jabs grants the same bonus as Camo Hunter, while being able to proc Burning Light and (now) being a not-very-expensive, high-damage ability. For PVE, a stamplar without Biting Jabs doesn't make much sense anymore. So you should get your Major Savagery from Jabs.

With Quick Cloak and the healing from Blood Craze and Rally, as well as the mitigation from Restoring Focus (not to mention Rend), your survivability should be fine.

It looks like your 2H bar is set up to be the damage bar on this one. I think it should be the other way around. Biting Jabs and Flurry are much better DPS skills than Dizzying Swing.

Here's what I would do instead (well, really I would go DW/Bow instead, but I'll keep it with 2H because you seem to want to go with 2H, and that's fine):

DW bar: Biting Jabs, Blood Craze, Flurry, Quick Cloak, Steel Tornado, Rend
2H bar: Restoring Focus, Rally, Vigor, Power of the Light, Crescent Sweep

Buff up, set up your DOTs, hit Jabs, then Flurry/Tornado your way to victory.

An alternative setup is to put Flawless Dawnbreaker and Rearming Trap on your DW bar instead of Cloak and Rend, to gain that extra 11% weapon damage and Minor Force.
7-day PVP campaign regular 2016-2019, Flawless Conqueror. MagDK/stamplar/stamwarden/mageblade. Requiem, Legend, Knights of Daggerfall. Currently retired from the wars; waiting on performance improvements.
