    I don't suppose they're giving us cheap respecs this patch?

    Cause this, despite the incoherence of the Original Post, definitely sounds like a bad change and a negative impact to my enjoyment of the class. I won't know for sure until I give it a chance, but I have a feeling this is no longer going to be something I want in my regular rotation.

    If you cast haunting curse every 3.5 seconds, it might give more dps (dependant on rotation) and will give more burst damage (for PvP).

    It must be a typo, they fixed (regressed) it on an PTS update back to 3.5, I'm sure the love notes have just been mis pasted as its oddly worded.

    Nothing has changed instead an additional explosion from curse. Every rotation from pre homestead will work exactly thes ame way post homestead.
    The only (positive) impact might be curse dealing additional damage if you dont recast it as you should every 4 seconds...?!

    Yeah recasting haunting curse after 3.5s gives double the dps in almost the same time.
    12s = 2 explosions
    14s = 4 explosions

    And the third option presented itself. Yes i agree that does sound right.
    So they basically just extended the Curse for more wiggle room, and giving us the option, if we want to hold on to the 3.5 sec rotation or make a new one.

    This is only true if all you ever do is cast haunting curse. Not recasting curse frees up two global cooldowns (two slots in your rotation) and enables you to deal damage with two other abilities. So DPS is definitely not "doubled" by recasting curse every 3.5 (4) seconds

    @DetErMeg Its a typo, Haunting curse is 3.5 seconds, then 8.5

    Wait, if that's true, then this would be a buff and not a nerf. Did the cost go way up to compensate?
