Doesnt that mean that Deadric pray is beter? i mean Haunting Curse is just a lazy version? You can get the same result with Deadric pray pluss you get the pet dmg buff on top. Or is my math way off?

Cause this, despite the incoherence of the Original Post, definitely sounds like a bad change and a negative impact to my enjoyment of the class. I won't know for sure until I give it a chance, but I have a feeling this is no longer going to be something I want in my regular rotation.

If you cast daedric prey every 6 seconds, it is as good as haunting curse casted every 12 seconds.
If you cast haunting curse every 3.5 seconds, it might give more dps (dependant on rotation) and will give more burst damage (for PvP).

Yeah recasting haunting curse after 3.5s gives double the dps in almost the same time.
12s = 2 explosions
14s = 4 explosions

Nothing has changed instead an additional explosion from curse. Every rotation from pre homestead will work exactly thes ame way post homestead.
The only (positive) impact might be curse dealing additional damage if you dont recast it as you should every 4 seconds...?!
