What class would be better for dueling and Why?

Both are good, but I think Stam DK is better at the moment.

Why? Well vigor and rally ticking with major mending (25% healing) from igneous shields and 12% healing from one of the passives then any additional healing bonuses you may have (race/skills/CP/heavy armour) makes them very strong.

Though stamplar does also have access to major mending their sustain I hear isn't great, I haven't played sfamplar personally though.

How's your damage? What do you use not to run out of Resources?

I have both at low levels right now not sure what I want to commit to, but like psychotic said I can already tell my resources are going to be a problem with stamplar, so I think I may work more on my dk if you never run out of resources.

Damage is amazing. Stam Dk just has a lot of resource management. Igneous shield restores stamina and increases vigors healing. Wearing five piece heavy armor gives you a ton of sustain as well. Then you have potions and your ultimate which restore stamina. Plus you can also throw in a heavy attack every now and then. Stam Dk is very powerful.

My stam dk with 1400 stam recovery has better sustain than my stamplar with 2000 recovery.

go stam dk. getting resources from ult and being very tanky is amazing for duels

With the new nerfs to heavy which effect the DK more then the stamplar who usually choose the bow/two hander in medium ....and cost reductions for stamplar... it's not a bad choice... Stam DK resource management is better in small scale fights atm but after the next patch it will be tougher....
