Frost Staff perma blocking builds in PvP will be the next Cancer?

With Templars or Dks being a top choice for this build and a few sets like Reactive/Black Rose/Dessert Rose. Front bar sword and board and back bar Frost Staff. Bouncing back and forth between bars to sustain won't be an issue and blocking everything looks possible.

They even can use a destro ult...this smells like the new cancer if this goes live what's everyone think?

    Add to it the new Impulse morph, Elemental Ring. 28 m range, AoE, roots with frost staff, undodge-able and stacks with others using it.

    Yea there's lots more cancer cells to add to this build but I'm just looking at the frost staff and blocking component

    With the Templar's new Magicka siphon ability that increases per target within a 28m radius? Oh yeah, this is going to be terrible.

    Been saying this and I don't see how it would go any otheresponses way. Currently the only way to kill Snb heavy armor templars is to run themy outta stam, usually you have to do this twice to actually kill them. Next patch groups of magplars together will just turtle up swapping bars and blockcast Bol, saving there team on the rare occasion someone runs outta resources up until the point they have their Destro ultimates.

    If anything... you will be seeing a lot of frost staff users running around simply because it is NEW... and FRESH for a lot of folks... but it won't be because it is the new meta.

    magicka players can already taunt from distance with inner fire but I didnt see anyone doing it. Be cause there are no other high damaging magicka proc sets to combine with.

      Nah every knows this is gonna be a cancel build.

      Frost + s&B for stupid amounts of blocking.

      Black rose + dessert from for unlimited block and BoL spam with minor magicka steal.
      PS4 EU DC

      Current CP : 756+

      I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

      RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...

      Can you tell me what purpose those builds could serve in eso apart from trolling other players in pvp - just so i would know?

      God forbid something else than a stamina build can block effectively in PvP. Sacrilege, i tell you.

      Maybe not the crit-procs were the biggest issue in Cyro.... maybe ZOS would have really done with those proc sets, but not this.

      The blocking part to me is just icing on the cake, just something for people to play with

      Sorcs for example now have access to maim (very underrated debuff)
      I do like the idea of Tremorscale plus the heavy (it's been thoroughly tested on PTS now, and can confirm it works very well)
      Think snare, big burst and magicka return (no cost and magicka gain!)

      Combine with reach for massive control, they're gonna have to dodge roll a lot!

      Btw Tremorscale is an AoE ...

      Im guessing hybrid regen builds. Permablock on frost staff when low on stam, permablock on 1H and shield bar when low on mag.
      PC, EU server, Ebonheart Pact

      It's not even difficult to theorycraft these builds.

      PvP is a such a mess, and this (very stupid) "Frost Staff Tanking" idea of ZOS's will create a brand new cancerous meta for players to deal with. I already know exactly what to expect next patch if they let this nonsense go live.

      There is no hope for PvP anymore imo. Waited for too long and it has gotten worse every patch since Dark Brotherhood. We have a lot of Devs to move around/get rid of for PvP to ever be great again.

      Let's just try to minimize the effects of PvP changes on PvE.

      It's capped at 400 regen though.
