Sorc duel wield build: Sharpened or precise swords?

I am transitioning from a destro to dual wield. This build does take practice to use efficiently. It's 5 lunch 5juloanos 3 willpower. Should I have sharpened or precise swords? I'm kinda aversive to precise since everyone and their cat runs full impen in this meta.

No reason to run precise over sharp in just about any situation aside from a very select few.

If you´re in a trialgroup where you can get the boss resistance down to 0 you shall run precise. In all other cases you should run sharpened.

I used to run that exact build its a very good starting place for dual wielding, but you'll start to realize that there are much much stronger dual wield set-ups than this

I personally currently rock 45% crit chance and the shadow mundus (50k magicka and 3.3k spell damage). I've been able to place frags as strong as 22k against random sorcs with shields down and as high as 16k against medium armor full impen nightblades, so never underestimate crit even in the impen meta.

But penetration is more important than crit until you can penetrate 100% of armor, so you need 2 sharpened swords. 100% penetration in PvP is unachievable unless you go out of your way to get it (you need 35k penetration) so you will lose at lot of other important stats. A good penetration number is around 13k, the only way to reach that number without screwing up your CP is with sharpened swords.

(Spell Erosion is a CP star that scales very badly, I only put 10 points in there and stuff the rest into Elfborn while keeping in mind the jump-points).
