Castle Charm Challenge Quest - Failure to Perform

You can all stop snickering at the thread title now. All done? Good. XD
But yeah every time I do the Castle Charm Challenge there are one or more spots where I'll press "E" to try and do my little performance, only no animation plays and if I try again it says the item isn't ready yet... for like a full freakin minute. I have a video snippet here of it:

My female Imperial Nightblade can't do the Castle Charm Challenge or the Lava Stomp quest no matter how long she tries:(. Seem to be bugged for Imperial characters.0 -

I have 5 Imperials, and I've run all of them through all quests multiple times. NOT bugged. The charm challenge can be a PITA, it seems to be turned based. Keep spamming your action key. One post suggested staying to the outer edge of performance area, and that's what I do. The Castle Charm Challenge is most definitely bugged. You are correct that it is not race specific (I have successfully completed it with my two other Imperials); it seems to be character specific.
I run 24 characters in total (12 on each server) and am therefore familiar with the PITA aspects of the game. I also know how this quest should work. I have just attempted the Castle Charm Challenge again with the Imperial Nightblade character from my original post but she does not respond when I press 'X'. The game thinks she is responding because unless I wait a long time, when I press 'X' again I receive the dissonant sound and the message that the item is not ready. This character is also unable to perform for the Lava Stomp quest.
Maybe this bug only affects those playing on the PS4.
