Body tattoo bugs
I'm having trouble with my tattoo purchases.
For starters, every time i teleport maps/instances on one of my characters, they fall off and I have to reapply them. This only happens on one of my characters. I have them hotbarred now, and since i have to activate it twice i assume its registering as there, but not appearing.
Second, when wearing select sets, wearing faction body tattoos causes texture glitches on the "skirts" of some armors. Where there should be no textures, (because no armor is there), there is a black paperlike cutout. It goes away when the tattoos are removed. Some armor includes dunmer jerkins and red mountain jacks.
I can provide screens/video if i need to i guess, any chance this is getting looked into?

Exact same problem. Hope it gets fixed this week in the maintenance. Slammer99uk✭✭✭I posted about this previously.
It is a visual bug at your end only, everyone else sees them. You can test this by going to relevant section (body markings?) of the appearance options when you see the bug appear, if you double click your tattoos and nothing appears to happen, then double click them again and you see the markings appear, then you are experiencing the visual bug I described above. Essentially you are switching them off then on again.
Failing that just ask someone within view what they see on you.

Players have been reporting this and asking for a fix since the end of October when it began

ZOS seem to be having trouble getting to grips with the issue.
I eventually posted it as a question (December 8th, "Ask Anything" section) but this has been no more successful than previous requests for a fix.
It is very annoying, especially because new Appearance options keep being offered for sale yet they are 'not fit for purpose' until it is possible to use them. The fact that other players may be able to see them is irrelevant imho: I don't select what my characters look like for the benefit of other players.0
