Do you guys use the regular 1-5 ability keybinds or do you bind them to mouse buttons (naga/hex)

Moving while casting becomes a bit hard with them on the keyboard...btu gettign sued to the mouse keybinds is aids as welll...

I use a gaming mouse (naga) it really does help a lot. skills 1-5 and weapon swap

I use a naga but I've kept the keybinds for 1-4 as button 1-4 on the mouse and just changed the keybind for skill 5 to left ctrl on the keyboard. This is my "panic" button, so on bar 1 ctrl streaks and on bar 2 it casts hardened ward. Button 5 on the naga I've bound to weapon swap. I dodge roll with a mouse-wheel up, synergy with mouse-wheel down and bash with mouse-wheel left. Crouch I've bound to button 11. The sensitivity up button on the naga sheathes and unsheathes weapon, and sensitivity down button is mount/dismount. The only buttons on the keyboard I use are wasd, 'r', space and left ctrl, plus all the inventory/crown store etc buttons.

Edit: getting used to naga keybinds is "aids" for all of a week until muscle memory changes. Once muscle memory is fixed it will be less effort to use a naga.

Tried many mice. I don't like having the skills on the mouse as it puts my aim off, I feel a lot more comfortable with 1-5.

Left click is the only button you need. You can recycle the keyboard.

I don't play battlefield with my naga for the same reason, but aim in eso?

I only have a couple extra buttons on my mouse and I use them for roll dodge, weapon swap, and break free/bash. I found that roll dodge and break free/bash have to be added buttons because the default double direction tap for roll dodge and double mouse button for break free/bash are just to slow and unreliable for the speed that combat goes in this game.

use a Naga, 1-5, bar swap is click of the wheel, I may change the synergies to be wheel up/down

a good chunk of players including some streamers are using a mechanical keyboard and binding a few actions onto their G keys.

I used to have my abilities on my gaming mouse (12 buttons on the thumb side). I've played ESO this way since day 1. I just recently switched my abilities back to 1-5 because I was experiencing fatigue from long fights in PVP. I wish I switched back sooner as I really prefer 1-5 to using the mouse side buttons.

I have a Logitech G600. 1-5 on my thumb buttons on the mouse, with weapon swap done by pressing my middle mouse wheel button to the right. Pressing my middle mouse wheel button to the left starts and stops autorun. I have sprint mapped to my 0 thumb button on my mouse as well. I still use cntrl for sneaking and R for ult.

I use keys 1 thru 5, I hate when I panic and go for the 5 key and i accidentally hit the R key which fires off my ult.

I have the razor keyboard and mouse. I like the keyboard a lot ( I like the clicking noise when I press the keys ). The mouse is ok, but I never use the buttons on the side.

I do have a problem with the keyboard sometimes. After fighting an AD zerg my keyboard gets stuck and when I type in zone chat , it types something like "11111111111111111wwwwwwwwwwwwww", until I pound on all my keys and it becomes unstuck.

I don't know if I can handle Razor Tartarus, it just seems kind of odd.

I've been using a game pad for close to 15 years. There is a heavy learning curve. Give it 30 days and you will improve exponentially.

All the keys on the pad stay the same for the most part. You bind your 1,2,3,4 to the thumb stick. Its just like on a controler. You never have to take your hands off your movement keys to hit an ability.

I put skill 5 on my front side mouse button, and swap weapons on the other.

Took me a year to convince Vy to get one and learn to use it. Took some time but it has been great for her. She goes toe to toe with the big dogs now. : ))

Someone I work with has a mouse like the one below. Every time I have to use it I complain, and tell them please get a different mouse. It feels so creepy with the ball on top.

Nearly everything is on my mouse (naga/scimitar)

All my keyboard hand really does is movement and opening menus/typing in chat.

I can't stand the over-tactile 'click-y' keys. I went for a squishy chiclet-style razer KB instead and it works for me. It Speeds things up for me and the keys don't stick.

I use 1-5 and keep both bar swap and CC break on the extra mouse buttons. Bar swapping without moving your fingers off of the 1-5 keys is awesome, it's how you attack, bar-swap, shield, swap again, and attack while animation canceling everything.

Tab, q, e, r, t for skills
Shift for dodge roll
C for sprint
Ctrl for crouch
1 for ulti
It was kind of like this default in other mmo I used to play, its really comfortable.

I use a Titanwolf gaming mouse. I mapped the skills 1-5 to the corresponding mouse buttons. With the other 7 buttons i can switch my gear or my skills (keep defense/riding etc.), mount my horse or take a screenshot.

Ulti is mapped to mouse wheel click. I bash with R, roll dodge with E and weapon swap with Q. Dont even know what the standard keys are^^.

It is super important for me to have the abilities for animations and their cancelling on opposite hands. Cant understand how people roll dodge and move and use a skill with one hand. Would get a hand spasm 15 minutes into pvp.
