Can't install the launcher!

Please help. I've been emailing support for over 2 weeks and have had no resolution. My system meets the requirements, that support does agree on. I have updated drivers, everything is current. I have windows 10 and have uninstalled the visual C++ updates. I click on download for the game, I get the 114MB file. I click on it (even with admin rights) and I get the Install wizard onscreen that loads up to 100% and then nothing happens after that. I have cleared cache, browser, temp files/folders. Any suggestions would be great.

Have you tried Installing as an Administrator? I know you're on the account that has admin privileges, but doing things this way tells the computer to obey you. So, try Right Click, Install as Administrator and see if that gets you any farther.

Have you disabled any AV programs? I believe the Launcher as some point in the install gets online and an AV program might take offense at that.

I have shut down antivirus and firewall for the process yes. And yes, I am right clicking to 'run as admin', while being logged into the admin account to.

GPU: ATI Radeon HD with 1024MB
Sound: DirectX compatible sound card YES
Internet: Internet Broadband Connection YES

On the right hand side, look for “DDI version” underneath Drivers. VERSION NUMBER IS 15.201

When you say you shut down the AV for the process, I mean have you shut down the AV program entirely? It might be some other process that wants to access the net not the Installer, and you can't add the Launcher to the list until it's installed. Also, disable the Windows Firewall for now just to be sure. I really hate the Nanny age for PC's, we used to be allowed to make mistakes, and ironically, rarely made them.

Tell you what, the easy way to make sure the Nanny's are not getting in the way is to try this install under a strict clean boot:

Nestor! Thanks so much for the clean boot tip. Got the launcher to pop up, and now it's downloading. Slowest d/l ever 3MB/s. I'm normally triple that so onto the thread for which ports to open, see if that speeds it up.
