It's ironic.

There is so much vitriol on the forums lately. The game is doomed ZoS is terrible blah blah...

But turn the servers off for a few hours.......

It reminds me a lot of CoH I think that Ncsoft read the forums a lot thought all the hate was a sign that the game was doomed ( I mean they obviously ignored the profit they were making in the last three quarters the game was running) and decided to cut their losses. The biggest irony there was watching people screaming the game was dead and broken for years freaking out more than anyone else it was closing.

Not looking for anyone to white knight why they moan constantly
Just stuff to consider, while were waiting for the servers to restart.

I'm not really upset about the servers being down, and none of you should be either! That means they are working hard and making sure its 100% when it does come back up! If it weren't for these people there would be no game!

there is every Wednesday at 3.am GTM+1 maintance and servers are up mostly at 5. am

Not since a few months before the launch of Legion. And if it was, it was always done quick and smooth (even with major patches).

And continuing the double talk... Yes we are maybe not on the edge of something that can maybe or not happen. It will depend or not, out our will or not to be true if not sure...

So basically you expected to finish within 1 hour but post an update 1hr 9mins later saying you will provide a new ETA when you know.

Either you simply dont care or completely incompetent by firstly giving a time frame that was completely out and secondly not having the gumption to update players when you clearly knew it was running over your first estimated time.

You can always tell people who don't work in the tech industry

The people working on this are horrified that the game isn't up yet, are working crazy extended hours and are probably short handed. No company LIKES letting their customers down. It sucks on both ends.

Now wouldn't it be neat if there was some kind of a silly ESO related mini game we could all play during maintenance?

take more smart ppl on work for your company, disband old list. Its really awesome, every maintenance something happened, every maintenance we wait for 8-10 hours for download patch 10 MB size...

Didn't even notice there was a maintenance today. If I didn't login here, I wouldn't even know. Funny how the heat has gone away and I've just realized that. I'm far from playing daily but I like to keep up to date with any changes introduced to the game. Really, I wouldn't mind waiting a week if that means I can really play in Cyrodil again instead of watching a TESO Slideshow. I'm really curious about the patch notes.
