[Video] Malubeth is still bugged....

With all the fuss about Proc Sets, Infernal Guardian, Destro Ult etc. it seems that everyone has forgotten how insanely bugged Malubeth still is ? Despite claiming otherwise in Patch Notes, ZOS never actually fixed the bug with this set, where it would provide insane high healing ticks (people mentioning up to 7k crits). This video below, from yesterday, pretty clear showcases this. Apologies for the bad 1vX attempt - build-in-progress.

A brief overview of what happens;

00:23 - Malubeth procs for 450 healing / tick
00:32 - Malubeth procs for 250-350 healing / tick (prob. major/minor defile)
00:54 - Malubeth procs for 3400-4200 healing / tick
01:05 - Malubeth procs for 2700-4000 healing / tick
01:20 - Malubeth procs for 500-719 healing / tick

FYI - This is in EU PC Azura, NO CP Campaign. I have 5 Heavy, and using Vitality Pots. Without Malubeth, we are between 50-100% healing buff i believe. Have not done the math on it yet.

Anyone can see that the healing ticks from 3rd and 4th proc are insane. On the 3rd one, i am low health, so you can clearly see that it is not a UI or Addon error. My health skyrockets back to full.

As for the reason, it seems that it is again taking it's healing from a different damage source, than the Malubeth damage done to the target. It seems to me, if you look at the 3rd proc at 00:54, that Malubeth is taking it's healing from the Swallow Soul skill, rather from the "Scourge Harvest" as it should. ZOS has directly mentioned that this was a bug (taking healing from other sources). The only other idea i can come up with, is that it is healing the full amount per tick, instead of dividing out the healing on each tick. Thereby giving you app. 7-8x more healing than you are supposed to, which fits with the numbers.

No matter the reason, there can really be no doubt here. It is still bugged and beyond.

Do you get 14k heals in pve? Heals are reduced 50% in pvp.

Tell me something I dont know, they "fixed" it back in dark brotherhood or something, but only partially, I stopped reporting it because zos is just....bleh.

I dont really do that much PvE, and have not actively tested it. So not sure if the bug can be replicated in PvE. But i believe, from older threads about this, that the bug is only in PvP.

But also, no, the heal from Malubeth is not affected by the 50% debuff. The set is healing you for 100% of the damage done. So the 50% debuff comes on the damage done (normally around 200-400 / tick - see the video). So the heal will be the same, 200-400 / tick, without any cut. Previously, when battlespirit was introduced, it would indeed cut down twice, on both damage, and then healing. But they fixed that.

But even with that logic, since damage in PvE is also more - Yes, you would see 14k+ heals in PvE, if the bug can be reproduced. But i do not think it can.

Nothing you stated or demonstrated indicates a bug my bol can do over 20 k crit heal and my vigor... well it's more. That wouldn't even be worth running.

Thank you. No thread on Malubeth being bugged, feels complete without at least one troll-post.
