Customer Service Ticket [Incident: 161206-000066]

Location in Tamriel where this problem reliably occurs: (Veteran) Maelstrom Arena (vMA); have seen it in other areas but outside of Maelstrom Arena these incidents are sporadic. Then again, I am spending a lot of time in vMA as of late, so there is that.

General description: A skill tooltip window will suddenly display. Combat and other activities are interrupted as the user must first find a way to dismiss this window before being allowed to use navigation or trigger controls. Buttons to handle windows that display behind the tooltip sometimes work. Even if the tooltip description dialog can somehow be dismissed it will appear again in short order.

For example:

• the player expires due to inability to defend self in combat; a death dialog will display and that can be handled
• the logout window may be summoned although using can be problematic

This problem is a annoying beyond description. I would think something like this problem would be a showstopper, but here it is in production.
