Souls Gems won't work.

May be something to do with the Update 12 with 'One Tamriel' but I have twelve Minor Soul Gems (lvl. 10-19) on my lvl. 19 character - also with enchanted lvl. 18 Bow and Restoration Staff. But when I go to refill the charge on my weapons or if I die and need to revive, it tells me that I don't have any and I can't refill or revive, respectively.

This wasn't communicated very effectively, but all soul gems that are not "Grand Soul Gems" are now defunct. Only "Grand Soul Gems" can be used to revive players and refill enchantments now.

What?! Aghh..... thanks for that. That explains why the Mystic in the Mage's Guild now only sells Grand Souls Gems. Player balancing, I get it. Thanks.

To be fair, they haven't updated the description on the smaller soul gems to indicate that they can't be used for resurrection any more. It still says something like 'used for resurrecting players of levels 10-19' or something like that.

Ugh, I was just coming to check this out. I have tons of minor soul gems that are filled and characters between levels 11 and 15 and I could use NONE of them. Nor could I use anything other than grand to re-enchant my weapons. Which was driving me crazy because it says right in the description that I should be able to use them.

So basically I should just sell all those off?

In the patch notes it says just to sell them off. I'm keeping a few of them in case I can put them in display cases once housing arrives.

It's shame they didn't make it so low level gems are automatically upgraded to grand, but it is nice to get any nventory space back.

what zos should have done, is just make whatever soul gems you get random lvl no matter what lvl you are then it be just like the single player games.
