✭✭✭✭✭I don't understand the immersion argument. I have tried to for years, really have, but what does that really mean?
Example, watching x-men and a friend of mine complained that their jet can't take off like it does because of V-TOL systems and blah blah blah (He is an aircraft mechanic).
BUT there is a blue furry guy flying it along side a dude with metal skeleton and another dude who shoots lasers out of his eyes and you want to complain about the jet?
I mean, how does one dude killing npcs that respawn in ~ 45 seconds ruin the "immersion" I mean you can believe that your dude has a stick that shoots lightning out of it and someone can pray to a god to heal, but nooo NPCs getting killed is the line in the sand?
What about ruining HIS immersion of being the psycho panty killer? Doesn't that matter?
Serious not trying to troll, it just doesn't make sense.
Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.8 -
