Please change the title of this forum to Proc vs Proc.

Remove 'Skills' and replace with 'RNG' as skills has no relevance under the current combat mechanics.

Small scale it's stupid. Some builds are flat out better than others. Less populated campaigns are just no fun bcz of the proc sets.

I disagree it's stupid, I enjoy it - though times it can be frustrating to get ran over by an angry mob
Some builds are flat out better than others, I won't disagree with that.
Less populated campaigns are just no fun because of proc sets? I don't even see a correlation, not to mention causation here. Less populated campaigns are usually one sided but that can be good or bad depending on what you want.

Solo play is just painful on my magblade now I can't let my shield down for a second or I get one shotted by these proc sets. Or either everyone is so tanky I can't dent them. I might as well just start zerging 24/7

Because they stand out more in small scale. A great player with any set will stand out most of the time period but a bad player can be carried by a set. In large battles bad players find a way to be bad no matter what they are wearing.

It's stupid. I'd say during my 2 hours of pvp tonight, 90% of my death recap included some combination of viper sting, hoarver explosion, and red mountain proc. I honestly don't give a bleep about all the stam baddies running black rose (I'm running 5 light), but the proc sets need to go. They have ruined pvp. Skill rarely matters anymore.

    Check out this Sypher video.

He uses ransack to proc Tremorscale and Viper goes off too. It's at the 1:12 mark.

I wouldn't mind so much if magicka had some nice proc bursts like that. Skoria got a nice buff but there is something not right with it. I get Selened for huge hits even as a vamp with 20k phys resistance with shadow cloaked major ward. Would be nice to have a magicka viper set.

Tons of skilled involved for that play. He had to click ransack.... :|

I'm seeing a video of a Sorc who's shield dropped who's in light armor and 16k health getting wrecked by a lot of damage.

    This was two years ago....

Basically if you have low hp; you're going to die in this game....and 16k health is low HP

PVP is such a joke. Mostly try hards zerging metas on their first MMO. Xbox is the worst but, Xbox, lol obviously gonna be bad. YouTube builds everywhere.

Go to the sewers for a better PVP experience, imo.

Just wait until Wrobel has been 'balancing' this game for say, around five years. We will all randomly proc 100k+ damage because we looked into the direction of an enemy.

From my experience, it's not that bad.

First question though... has anyone confirmed that pvp damage debuff and hp buffs exist in dueling as they exist in Cyrodiil? It seems to me that they don't? Haven't checked Character screen while dueling but my damage seems high. Did just finish Agility though.

I think the PVP in this game is really fun, and I like how every character has access to dodge and block, shields and heals, as well as damage. It means every player can be somewhat responsible for restoring their own stats as well as doing damage.

For Proc sets, and I haven't pvp'd in CP campaign yet just non-cp and dueling, I don't find them to be too OP to fight against. But now that I am theory crafting my final build, it seems to me they are absolutely the most powerful choice. I am leaning toward Tremorscale for the proc on puncture, and even with a debuff, that proc'd damage is reliable and going to give me a bigger boost than any other set bonus I can fit into my build. I'm considering Kena as well.

I'd rather not use it though, it's silly but I like how my character looks, I prefer the look of a normal helm and pauldrons, and I like to crush my enemy in glorious melee combat, I don't really want to be summoning those dunes everywhere. For players who do like it, I like that there is such a variety of buffs and attacks for them to choose from, it will definitely be fun to fight against them.

It's a tough choice I'm thinking over right now as I prepare to upgrade my armor to legendary.

I had a 2 star sit in a group of 5 players and wait till my shield dropped to jump and proc all his sets on me.

Lucky for me I had a radiant placed on me and it was a 22k health to 0 in .5 seconds.

From 2 players, and the use of 2 abilities. I have 25k resist on my back bar, S&B.

Can't believe they added all of these other proc sets this coming update...
