Heavy Stam DK Dawnbreaker or Dragon Leap?

Many would wave their hand and say, dawnbreaker is far superior to dragon leap, but I think that after dawnbreaker is nerfed in ultimate cost, dragon leap can outperform dawnbreaker.

Lets compare the two:
DL: all damage instant (worthy considering as the dragonknight's "execute" on players)
DB: Instant and DOT (how many times has this failed in killing them and they heal through the DoT)
DL: 5% hp recover passive (garbo)
DB: 3% weapon damage passive (not garbo)
DL: Difficult to dodge.
DB: Nearly impossible to dodge.
DL: Utility of a ranged gap closer, and targeted so it doesn't miss.
DB: No such utlity, but also may miss with radius of cone and bad luck.
DL: Stun
DB: Stun
DL: Looks way cooler

DB: Meh, looks okay.

I guess this is kinda too much thought for something that is probably personal preference, but I think that some of these things should be considered. Not to mention, the ulti costs are the same after the one Tamriel update.

Also, its kinda fun to sprout wings and fly up keep walls (don't tell zos)

The ONLY time I die to Dragon Leap is when the DK is in my face (E.G Dizzying Swing ->Dragon Leap). Otherwise the DK's slow moving "glide" through the air gives me ample time to dodge roll. To be fair, if the DK is close enough to hit with leap, Dawnbreaker would have also done the job, as I tend to be squishy.

Dawnbreaker is for kill people. Leap is a disrupt ability, you leap into a group and knockdown everyone to open the path for the rest of your group. You can still use leap a single target dps, but dawnbreaker is better for that.

It's a playstyle choice.

Leap if far too inconsistant and unreliable. Dawn breaker is the way to go now and I can't see that changing next update even with the cost increase

Also, my build runs movement speed pots instead of a gap closer, so I could put a gap closer in should I choose dawnbreaker instead of leap.

Dawnbreaker is still better.

You'll love DB when people start dodge rolling your leap.

Yup, petrify + diz swing + leap.

for single target is a great combo, for multi targets it is better crit rush + DBoS

My Dragon knight uses Dragon leap, ive found that its rather useful when enemies are running into your keep

Dragon leap became obsolete the moment dawnbreaker was made physical. Why would anyone use an ulti that misses half the time?
