What weapon to gold out?

I am tired of waiting for the mythical sharpened vmsa two hander and am planning on golding out one of my mauls. What would be a better weapon to upgrade defending maul or precise maul? Unfortunately I do not have any two handed swords.

Due to the insane lag in this game it doesn't really matter. In fact it really doesn't matter which set you wear, you could just run around naked with a blunt dagger. If the lag is in your favor you win if it's not you loose. ESO is a lag lottery.

Honestly sharpened is like a 7% dps increase, if you don't have sharp msa i'd use a random sharp 2h

defending somewhat counters other peoples sharepened, i would gold up defending.

For pvp mostly stam sorc. I have tried both duel wield and 2 hander. Liking 2 hander much better. I never thought about defending canceling out another's sharpened. Thanks for the input.

In same situation have no sharpened but defending is ok. I got a Gold Maul in maul which is ok.
