Any chance of MODs coming to XBOX or PS4?

Are there any plans to bring a curated list of mods (or re-implementation of the most common PC mods) to the consoles?

There seem to be several very popular PC mods with over 1 million downloads:
* skyshard/lorebook/quest maps
* skill and armor collections for quick non-combat swapping (changing rooms)
* easier searching for trading (text search, avg price ...)
* effect countdowns (taunt, buffs, heals, dots)
* fight statistics (crit%, damage per skill, damage by group member ...)

The first 3 are categories of things that I _can_ do, but it's super time consuming without the mods. The last 2 are types of popular mods that simply don't exist on console. In many cases these have become an essential tool for PC players.

I wouldn't expect for every mod to be available, but it would be nice to see some of the 'elite' (500,000+ downloads) mods be made available.

    Not likely.

Mods hitting other xbox games are only coming through official developer channels, which ZOS is not doing with ESO.

Sony also just basically told Bethesda NO, as far as I can tell, regarding mods on PS4 for Fallout 4.

Stormproof: Vibeke - 50 EP mDragonknight | Savi Dreloth - 50 EP Magsorc | Sadi Dreloth - 50 EP Magblade | Sigtric Stormaxe - 50 EP Stamsorc | Valora Dreloth - 50 EP Magplar | Sigtric the Unbearable 50 EP Stam Warden
Scrub: Chews-on-Beavers - 50 EP DK Tank | Vera the Wild - 50 EP magicka Warden | Sigtric the Axe - 50 EP Dragonknight Crafter | Sigtric the Blade - 50 EP Lost Nightblade | Sigtric the Savage - 50 EP magicka Templar | Vibeka Shadowblade - 50 Ep Stealthy Ganky Nightblade |

    mods are unlikley,
however tools which began life as a PC add-on have been incorporated into base game patch, damage indicators being the obvious example

I'm not optimistic. I'm really hoping for a system in place where ZOS will periodically review the extremely popular mods and (hopefully) provide similar functionality.

Many of these eclipsed 1 million downloads, so there is definitely a strong desire for the functionality.

    ... fingers crossed.

Sony is killing all chances of MODDing on the PS4, and the XBOX platform for add ons is over bureaucratic. Don't hold your breath
