CALCULATIONS: Critical strike/extra damage vs impen from the attacker's perspective

For all of you thinking about the new sets and builds, I've added a new sheet to my Impenetrable Calculations showing the Attacker's Perspective when trying to figure out how much extra damage they will do by changing the amount of critical strike chance and extra critical strike damage in their builds.

This new sheet has one column (G) in blue. If you'd like to punch in your own numbers, copy the sheet to your own Google Sheet (you can probably also use Excel), and change the numbers to correspond to what your build has in it.

If you'd like an explanation of anything, please ask. You can click on any cell and see the math for that cell.

For those not familiar with Google Sheets (or Excel), open the page, then on the bottom you can click on "Attacker's Perspective Calculations".

@Crown , I took a quick glance at the numbers (with the fiance this weekend so can't dive in fully) and I can assume, with 7impen/100 crit resistance defense and 87%crit dmg, I can achieve 47% extra crit dmg?

What does this mean? The previous spreadsheet I think said 37% extra crit dmg so I can assume impen took a slight nerf?

I'll take a closer look Monday. Thanks for the info!

@Minno This new sheet requires that you make a copy of it, then adjust the blue fields for whatever your character has for <extra crit damage> AND what you expect your opponent to have in crit resistance. Many people run 7 gold Impen gear, and have a healer running the set that gives an extra 1250 Impen (37.88 crit resist) after being healed which would pretty much completely negate extra crit damage.

The purpose of this sheet was to let people play with the numbers for their own builds rather than my making assumptions and showing a LOT more than most people need / will understand.

If there is an error somewhere and your specs are showing a 10% difference, then I probably made an error somewhere and please let me know!
