Let's start the shuffle stack threads again shall we?

    Yes, yes we shall!

    Yes we shall indeed...

I can't come up with anything constructive. Yeah stam builds (a lot) use shuffle... those that kill you in 2 secs typically don't

Not sure about shuffle stack thing. All I do is cast evasion once and I dodge like Jackie Chan. So do others. Today NB in IC literally dodged 7 of my attacks in a row without a single roll. That's pretty insane. 4 dodges in a row are very common though.

This, it's anecdotal but I'm convinced Shuffle leaves be better protected than Blur when I swap my builds.
I don't know why, I'm willing to accept that it's just anecdotal and I've not tested it properly but I damn well dodge a LOT of things when I'm running shuffle.

I don't know if it's "stacking", I think it's been fairly well established that it isn't. But it definitely seems to be over-performing compared to the same 20% dodge chance of Blur.

    What went wrong?

Starts with Wro and ends in something with a b... combined with a severe lack of pvp combat design knowledge.

You have 2 cancer options now:
    1. Pure cancer burst build
    2. Pure cancer tank build
    3. Orc

This is the new balance and cancer meta of ESO - PvP

    Fixed.

What gets me about shuffle is it's interaction with moves like flurry.

You'd think it would be a different dodge chance per .6 strike, unfortunately the dodge chance is for the entire cast, so shuffle dodges technically 5 attacks and you see a massive stack "dodge" ticks.

I know that dodge roll dodges everything in that window, I'm thinking shuffle works the same way.

I was just being silly bout the stacking threads... (bum bum bum....)

    Or was I?

    Yeah I was.

It does, you're not the first person to say the same to me and I'd been thinking it for ages, Blur just doesn't seem to work as well.

It doesn't help that whenever something critical is said about Shuffle, stamina builds from all over the world leap to the defense and will explain in detail the amazing skills they're are putting into action to dodge 3-4 consecutive attacks whilst standing still.

I think the crazy spike damage, and the fact everyone in the game is an off-healer - there's literally no way to balance it currently.

Consistent damage is useless in pvp. You either global somebody, or the fight lasts for 10 minutes.

Nobody will take this seriously, or properly notice these things until the game has some form of structured pvp.

Saying this; the game is still relatively young. Still has a ways to go in this regard. If you look back at some of the 'top' mmorpgs of the last decade to when they were a year or two old, the pvp there had very similar issues,

So after coming back to ESO from a long break I've noticed that the only way to have any fighting chance in pvp is to pump crit damage and crit resistance. Probably 95% of players I fight against are crit based nightblades that can put anyone down In matter of few seconds (best scenario) while being able to dodge almost all attacks including ultis. Going to PVP without impenetrable armor is a suicide as well. A year ago when I've played a bit more PvP was actually fun. Battles were long and people had all kinds of builds. Now its all about that crit and evasion (even all mages sport that skill!). What went wrong? Do people really enjoy current pvp?(from non ganker perspective) are there any plans to make PVP about more than just crits?
What you are seeing is the effect of having @Wrobel take care of what used to be an amazing PvP game. Sure, you can do something else than the mentioned 'cancer' builds, but you will have to spend more effort to be less effective.

Meanwhile ZOS takes impen off the PvE loot table and has to open a discussion thread to figure out if that was a good idea or not.

this. is. no. pvp. game. period. It's whole skill, no-cooldown system is so inherently flawed it will always be extremely unbalanced.
