AvAvA is an amazing dream. Unfortunately this dream only lasted a few months in ESO before it was riddled with game breaking latency issues, sub-par FPS and crippling balance decisions.

I feel as though the FPS and latency issues would be resolved with GvG or arena style play for the most part. Yet the balance issues would still remain strong. Not to mention structured PvP is great at times but in a world of mostly casual players the structured PvP would be a very small portion of the community. You'd be fighting the same guilds, small man groups and solo players constantly. AvAvA gives you a ridiculous amount of different terrain, many different builds and players to fight, different encounters, etc. As an arena you'd be forced to always have the BiS gear and builds to just compete.

Not to say that either GvG or AvA are better options than one another, but taking AvA out of a game that had AvA as one of its main selling points would be a terrible decision. Could definitely see both of them existing side by side though.
