Empowering Chains in PvP

Does Empowering Chains work in PvP..?

I took my PvE tank into Cyrodiil last night (for War Horn) and this skill just doesn't seem reliable at all. I was trying to pull people out through a breach in the wall, but it pretty much never worked. Ever.

As a side note, my PvE tank seems far more useful than my squishy DPS. It's pretty much immune to gankers and you can almost hear the Nightblade panic attack when they realize they just blew their wad and only chipped off 1/3 of my hp. :#

Chain can be dodged, and dodging is a very common form of defense in PvP, both actively through roll dodge and passively through shuffle. Additionally, PvP is a CC-fest, so many of your targets will be CC immune because they recently used break free - and a CC immune target cannot be pulled.

Oh yes - blocking the chain also prevents a pull, and the enemies who expose themselves in breaches are usually 1h/s tanks that are blocking.

Chains can be dodged, blocked, or just not fire due to CC or the infamous too high/too low error. If you were trying to chain people around a breach, it's likely that the rubble and terrain changes were causing them not to work.

It's too unreliable to be worth a spot on your bar in PvP.
