one : problem with headset and game

hello , since one week , me and my guild friends have a lot of problem in game with the headsets , lag , freeze , crackle .... A solution please ?

I've had it too, but I am wondering if part of the problem is Microsoft's coding for Cortana - it started when they released the Cortana upgrade and it only happens when I have a mike plugged in.

This problem with sound on the XB1 and headsets has been around in the game for quite a long while; the only way around it is to have the headset set to chat only, and turn off in-game sound on the headset, and let that come through the TV.

It does possibly suggest some sort of incompatibility between the game and the XBox One hardware.

I have found that if you go to the audio settings in the game, and turn down all volumes for the different things to below half, it does mitigate it, and the problem goes away. Its like the game is simply trying to put too much load on the headsets when the in-game volume is turned too high.

So, turn the in-game audio to around half volume, then turn your headsets own volume up as far as you can.

I have noticed in the last few weeks that if my game is loading heavy the mic will cut and sometimes it doubles what people are saying. This normally only happens for a brief time around 10 to 20 seconds. If I just stop running and let the game catch up the time is shortened and the mic is fine.

It will always double what is being said if I am in a loading screen and cut in a out.

I am not sure what the Cortana update did or did not do for the mic and how that affects the mic when I am loading parts of the game, but I only notice it in ESO.

it is not a problem with the xboxone , it's a problem with the game , when you go in mournhold , the headtset crashed , the sound crackle , and the chat is down
I have tested with other games and there is NO problem.
So put this subject on the good post please

You serious? It's not XBOX ONE problem. Everything works fine when playing other games. ZOS If you finally take the effort to reply to your customers, please at least make it worthwhile.

My audio has been messed up since the dark brotherhood update. In-game group chat, party chat, in-game audio is all messed up. A lot of crackling and many times the audio just completely turns off in my headset. About 10-20 times during a play session I have to take the battery pack out and put it back in, in order to get the audio returned to the headset.

Before the dark brotherhood update I had minimal problems with audio, if any at all.

Same here. Faster way to get the sound back is hold XBOX LOGO on controller, turn off controller that way, and turn it back on by holding it again. ZOS completely ignore the issue and blame it on xbox hardware. Way to go ZOS...

I have not had this problem until a few days ago. It is not an Xbox issue, but a game issue.

I experience hearing double speak when I am loading into a area. The sound issue will stop if I stop moving and allow the game to catch up. In-fact anytime I load or the game needs to load something ahead of me this happens.

I did not have this issue until the previous maintenance patch. The one we just had did not change the behavior. It was not like this after the DB update. It was a maintenance patch between the last one and after DB.

As a feature however,
I have been using this feature to foretell the coming of zergs. It is pretty accurate. I always know a group is coming over a hill or getting close to the keep now becasue my sound will start to cut and I hear double speak.

I was so pumped for Dark Brotherhood, I didn't know the DLC would completely mess up the game. The lag is awful, can't even play it's so bad, not to mention the extremely long load time for NPC's to appear, and my headset is also not working with the game. Seriously, I'm paying monthly for a game I can't play. Unbelievable.

Since the launch of the DB I and my friends are having the same problem all sound just disappears , being necessary to disconnect and reconnect the control of the Xbox , however I realized that can be peak schedules the reason for this problem.

@ZOS_BillMueller do you know if there will be a fix for the audio issues that Xbox has in next week's update? Is it something you're even aware of? There are a few threads out there that describe the same issues (sound crackling, complete audio loss when traveling or entering/exiting a load screen, etc.). These sound issues make it difficult to communicate with group members, guild members, area chat, and even XBL party chat.
