Some things that really start to grind my gears.

Alright, for the 2-3 years i've been playing this game, there are still many things that should be looked at in my opinion. This post is more to vent the things that have been anoying me in this game till this day, and to hear from all you lovely folk what you hate or pisses you off in ESO's pvp right now. Today again, i've been noticing a few things.

1. Malubeth.
Say what you want about this set, it's OP on every templar that uses it and acording to recent posts it's still not fixed or balanced. You shouldn't have a 2p godmode set against big groups, it's laughable somthing like this is in a game where skill should matter.

2. Terrible level scaling in pvp.
Yea, fighting a group of lvl 20-40's in IC with 35-42k hp health that still do decent damage is redicilous. When i was leveling my mDK i noticed the same. I had less trouble killing groups of player while he was lvl 35 with 501cp then i have now at max level with 531cp. I understand that lower levels should get a chance, but this is just bad scaling. I might as well make a new char and keep him at level 30 with gold gear, i would have a huge advantage over others.

3. Break free not working.
Nothing better then being stunned with 20k stamina left and not being able to get on your feet again. This still happens way to often, even when there is no lag. The same thing for roots, people with talons can perma root me to the floor, even with CC immunity, unmovable op, or the posions for it. Don't get me wrong here, i don't want mDK's roots to be nerfed, but i want this game to work properly.

4. Expert hunter & magelight.
Cloak is a good skill for NB's when it works, and that's completely fine. But for some reason they don't get revealed by magelight or expert hunter at least 50% of the time. This is including the times where i'm litterally touching them. If you're to lazy to make a skill work, then don't put it into the game. Thanks in advance.

5. Radiant destruction.
I main a templar, but play all classes since it's fun to switch around a bit. As funny as it can be, having a beam on you nonestop while you're fighting people, and then get oneshotted ones your health gets low is a bit to easy to score kills. I know you can counter it, but you shouldn't be able to hold a constant execute on someone and just wait to when he drops low. I would personally like it a lot more if it was like mages wrath or some sort. Shoot a bold of light that sticks for like 3 seconds, and proc an execute when he's dropping below 25% health. You can give it a heal instead of a AoE attack if it procs, or something like that. That way it would annoy less people, and it would actually be nice to use in duels as well. You should have to time an execute, not...this.

6. Uppercut.
Yea well, it's still to strong. I know a lot of people suck with it, but you shouldn't be able to pull off such massive damage with a spam skill. Either lower the damage or remove the knockback, this is especially anoying since break free is not working well.

7. Weapon swapping.
Not much has to be said about this, it's cluncky and doesn't respond well.

8. Unresponsive skills.
At times i need to press the same skill 2-3 times for it to work for no reason. This with no lag, it's also very cluncky at times.

9. Lag in Cyrodiil.
Just fix it already if you care even a bit about the pvp community. Stop stowing skins and zones in our faces and fix the core game first. It saddens me to see all my pvp guilds run dry because of this issue.

10. Emporer buffs.
Emp is still OP. Really nice fighting one in IC when he has a 76k stamina pool. Good luck fighting that. In Cyrodiil i'm quite okay with it, since the numbers are bigger (which brings that joyfull lag as well), but the buffs shouldn't be active in the sewers. It's also an easy way to farm tel var stones, kill some bosses solo in a minute, they drop 14k.

11. "veteran content"
I completed every dungeon and trail in the game so far, even with the new changes to scale it up to cp160. But i'm getting a bit bored of the dps races and the oneshots the mobs pull off. It's a cheap and lazy way to make things hard. Just drop a 4m hp boss in your face that spawns adds with 350k hp that have tons of resistance, they also hit you for 12k, fun!

12. Useless traits on endgame gear.
We all like getting more gold and xp on our max level char don't we? The gold one might be funny zenimax, but bosses drop 9g, getting 150% more gold from him isn't doing it for me.

Have i missed something? I'm pretty sure i have. Please let me know what pisses you off. Sorry for my English.

    Hard to disagree.

    Except...

The problem with nerfing J/Beam is that without it , Templars just can't compete damage wise.

Sorcs have critable frag procs, overload and shields.

DK's have endless DoTs and roots.

NB's have ridiculous burst + cloaking + the best ultimate

Temps can heal. J/Beam puts them amongst it, but there are counters. I main an NB and rarely actually die to Temps

Dark flare sucks, because you can't use it mid fight. Jabs is okay, but commits you to the cast and leaves you wide open to CC's. I've killed so many Temps channeling jesus beam, that I wonder why everyone has a problem. It's 3 seconds.

That's a 3 sec window if you ask me. I think Malubeth's overrated. It barely procs and I've fought malubethers where it hasn't proc'd.

As for the rest, I agree wholeheartedly.

Does this inherently mean other classes should be buffed so they can compete with Templars healing wise?

I agree with most of the list, Number 12, me and a friend bought 12 boxes each from the vendor in the new pvp capture town vendor between the two of us we got one piece with impen, 2 with TRAINING, they really need to remove training and exploration from 160 cp armor.

We need either the ability to choose the trait we want when we purchase the box, or crafters need to be able to craft a one time trait replacement, we need options here.

Agreed, templars do need a usefull execute, but it's a bit too easymode compared at the other executes out there. I don't know an alternative for this one, but there must be something better then this beam. It's great against cloaking NB's though. Better then magelight or evil hunter...
