Gap closer forced snare

@Wrobel can we please have a discussion about removing the snare from gap closer.Its ridiculous addition to the the game that just makes PVP worst.Whenever a player gap close to you your snared over and over again it become ridiculous and really makes it hard for magica builds from playing since they have no way to remove the snare.While sham builds have shuffle not being able to move in PVP cost a good number of players deaths.So @Wrobel is their a way fro us to remove the snare from gap closer and promote a healthier PVP experience.

    Yep it's still broken AF. People can gap close on my Imperial Vamp and snare him in full most form. This was supposed to fixed last update but wasn't. I wonder if they missed the gap closer snare in the fix.

    The same thing happens with my buddy I was going to become a vamp but after I heard mist form doesn't stop gap close snare I don't see the point.It's really broken a a bad oversight on their part.

    If I recall correctly, this used to be an immobilize instead of just a snare, and both features are intended to make sure the player using the gap-closer can "hit" their target. Now, maybe that's just a dumbed-down version of what's going on, but if we're just playing around with things to fix performance then I think having the gap-closer simply do its damage regardless of player position would be better, then they could remove the snare entirely and just have the player casting the gap-closer move to the intended position. Like, as long as it's going off properly then why snare at all when you can avoid the hit mechanic entirely?

    Yes that is the case ZOs stated the reason for adding snares to gap closer mainly because crit rush wasn't hitting its target.It was a lazy fix Personally I'll be fine if gap closer did no damage and only close the gap between too a player.I'll be ok if they don't but the target just near the last known location would be better than the snares.

    I just want to bump this thread again because am tired of getting gap closed and not being able to move.@Wrobel @ZOS_GinaBruno can we have a discussion about this in the PVP section or something,Since this affects PVP in a big way.

    While were at it can we reduce the damage of all gap closers by 50% thanks.
