Item Sets
Scourge Harvest: This item set has undergone numerous balance and bug fixes.
Fixed an issue where the beam could proc on a target already further than 10 meters away, causing only a single tick of damage and effectively wasting the proc.
Fixed an issue where the beam was causing the target to play hit reactions for each tick of damage.
Fixed an issue where the Health restored by the beam could sometimes be derived from a different source of damage other than the beam damage.
Reduced the range required to break the beam to 8 meters from 10 meters.
Increased the cooldown on the beam proc to 6 seconds from 4 seconds.
Made several improvements to the tooltip so the proc mechanic is clearer.
I am not sure who to credit for this but thanks @ZOS_GinaBruno please be sure to share this with the team. I think these adjustments are a step in the right direction!

They balanced the set.
The intention was to balance Scourge Harvester, not ruin it. Now this set is useful (and strong) but no longer bugged and OP.

✭I agree completely. For once they actually managed to keep it in their pants, and just settle with fixing the bug, and making minor small adjustments, instead of the usual hammering into the ground, going from stupid OP broken to utterly useless.

My tank will probably continue to use it.
EXACTLY. I was so worried they were going to destroy this set on my PvP support tank. This set still works amazingly well on tanky toons. However, with the recent changes and fixes, DPS cant just slap this on and be god mode anymore cos no more broken healing ticks.
The 30% buff comboed with just major mending + vitality makes my stam tank DK extremely hard to take down and I luvs it. For once, ZOS didnt smash a set into oblivion with changes. Plus, all those FOTM malu users are gone now thank god. Also, I dont get 20 rage tells everytime a bunch of potatoes hit me for 5 minutes and cant kill me.(2)V16 Dk- stam dps/stam tank/mag dps

If they can't think of something to replace the 30% healing with then maybe it needs to be made useless. It's still easily abusable.PC NA

Make me a tank build that can tank 20 potatoes and still do damage please. Cos for the love of me I can only get to 2.2k weapon power cos im a full blown fasallas disease carrying perma-blocking zerg baiter + cc spammer for my group. Id love to be able to kill things and still tanks zergs with none of that sissy running around rocks strategy.
On the flip side its TOTALLY ok for my DPS toons to stack major brutality, minor brutality, major savagery, minor savagery and 8% damage buff too yeah. Totally legit that my NB or proxy bombers can literally 1 shot people but its totally not cool to have someone tank more than 2 people......
(IMO) its totally fine to have a tank build that is really hard to take down. Stop hitting them and go for more legit targets is what you should be doing. DPS cant use malu anymore with changes. Now it's been nerfed, and people are still using it and calling it strong. Get off my yard FOTMers! Kena

Given that in Pvp there is a lot of stuff, which can proc Malu (light attacks, etc., all sorts of "tiny dmg"), this set has always been working as intended. This means: the more people focusing you the more Malu would proc.
Most of the complaints came from DPS-spec'd players who fail (also mentally) to understand that it is and was working as intended! It seemed to be op, because many ppl were focusing one target (also working as intended) and therefore it was triggered. In 1on1 I never had it up all the time, pure lies from DPS players!
I never felt this set is o.p. but I am not the guy complaining about everything in the forums, just to push my post/comments counter.. same applies to radiant destruction, bombard, etc. Unfortunately, ZOS seems to be listening to the cry-for-nurf crowd, as seen with bombard, a skill which stayed untouched for 2 years UNTIL recently some criers started.. Their actual way to handle such topics has become worse then before!0 -

Riiiight. Because the patch notes listing several bugs they fixed, clearly means it was not bugged.. or... wait...
But you are right in the fact that the proc chance was never bugged. But you are kind of missing the fact that the healing was bugged.
One can't really say "It was always working as intended", when they just released a patch with bugfixes to it. Unless one is a Malutard... Wait...PC - EU

✭Stacking healing buffs is fine but stacking mobility buffs is not ._.Overload rework. Power Overload now does physical damage and grants you the power of a tornado: You throw a brick at the target with a light attack, and you hammer your head into that brick with every heavy attack. We have decreased its Ultimate cost, but increased the chance that you get stuck in the animation.0 -

The bug was that in 1 tick a player would gain 10k type health. It's suppose to give you 30% bonus and health drained, this health drained part was bugged and giving WAY more health than damage done.
The 30% heal boost that can stack is good, but was not the bug people are talkin about1
