I believe that they not only corrected the verbiage, but also stated clearly that it is not against the TOS.

I didn't know asking a question now-a-days is consider bashing. And even tho ZOS said that it was not against the TOS they still didn't clarified how is this a bannable offense and how to not get in trouble for this. All they did was said it's not against the TOS, and not that "We don't auto ban players for grinding."
But it's ok if you are just looking to bash me, just because I'm looking for knowledge in how to not fall victim to “Repeatedly Locked (for grinding?)”.0 -

Well, for one thing they made a point to mention that they removed the word Banned, as well as said that it was not a ToS violation. That indicates that it is not a bannable offense. I guess that implies that Locked means Muted, which is apparently a thing they do when it is not against the ToS and want to make sure you stay that way.XBox EU/NA:@ElsonsoJannus

How about some clarification on why we are being "locked" and how we can go about avoiding it?
I'm currently locked out ... I received no notification telling me that I am locked, why I am locked, or how to go about getting unlocked.
It's really awesome to have trading disabled when BOP items can be traded with in party ... Would ZOS be willing to move a monster helm to my party member since I can't trade with them due to 'Lock'?Edited by Essiaga on 4 August 2016 20:210 -
Iarao✭✭✭✭i remember the botting and gold seller spam from way back. i also remember that zos was working on a solution, but it didnt come fast enough before i chose not to renew the required sub because of said botting. it seems this is the solution. as per someone above, they look for outliers. they need to set the parameters low enough to catch the botting, but still high enough for the overwhelming majority of players to not get caught by it. the underwhelming :P minority will get caught. so scale it back if that is what is causing your bans. now as for transferring the high end items that people say they were doing just before it happened, zos needs to permanently fix that parameter. i think that one may be broken.ACHILLES 343i wrote: »for some reason i think ESO+ subscribers are immune to this..

That's the strange part. I have ESO plus and let zos know that I am a good paying customer, but they won't correct this auto mute ban all the same.
EDIT: Actually they are correcting the problem. However, they are putting a band-aid on a situation that requires surgery. They will release the communication ban, but the automated system just re-applies it within a few days of high traffic grinding.
Have you ever thought about that they might just not want you to grind that extremely?- It is not in the interest of them, that it is done like this. Some grind, ok, but extreme grind like that is not really healthy for the game - it creates power creep even faster and this is a big problem because it creates a gap, which is hard to close and requires even more new mechanics.
Not to talk about that it is not healthy for you either.

That would dub "Tamriel Unlimited" as false advertising..
The guy isn't even capped yet. You've got players sitting on thousands of alloys, wax etc from hundreds of hours of pig farming and whatever exploits there were in the past, while still having a fully functional game - yet this guy can't hussle up to CP501? Highly doubtful.
