I don't think it is fair to call a Tank a 'Troll'. The point of tanking is to tie up an enemy and/or beat someone in a battle of attrition. Its a different kind of fight than when a DPS fights a DPS. Tanks have a hard time killing a DPS generally in MMO's because their damage output is low. DPS have a hard time killing a tank because of their resiliency. As a whole DPS get more kills generally because their dps is so high, they're just going to make more kills in general. A Tank with a lot of kills is someone who is able to tie up a lot of enemies and wear them out. I don't like the troll term. I've seen games handle tanking well in pvp, and I've seen them handle it poorly. It really amounts to a form of favoritism in game design a lot of times.

Check out @Synozeer video's. He's probably the best blazing shield Templar out there and really has done the most extensive testing on the build that I know of.

I've been watching the vidoes. Sad there's no build breakdown. I'm just getting my feet wet and can't get the right setup. I'll keep at it though.

Pretty sure he stated his build in one of the descriptions? Pretty sure he's using seducer or something.

In this game being a tank is too easy though. Every time I fight one of these templars the fight always ends the same way, I walk off. the fight had no point he'll never kill me and I'll never kill him. Some tanks just can't be killed in this game

I play a blazing shield tank in PVP. My advice to you is to not get the "grass is greener syndrome." Can the build do some amazing fun stuff? Yes...in certain scenarios. The moment you roll tank in this game you need to understand one thing. DPS in PVP is the highest sustained damage output you will ever encounter in the game. Players can do AMAZING damage. So yes you can make a build that will likely let any single player be unable to kill you. But what then? How much of cyrodiil is 1v1? I don't care what you build, when 5+ players are done killing your friends, they are going to drop you. Sometimes they will drop you fast enough to wound your pride. It is a hard pill to swallow in this game; DPS reigns here. You will die, and you will hit moments when they all focus on you and drop you in an instant. And you traded all your dps simply to make it take a few moments longer for them to do it.
Think about it, I personally have 63.5k dps. But when you get 20k dps directed at you, all that simply means it took 3 seconds to kill you rather than one. So go get em, be a tank, I have no intentions of stopping. I love this role. But you are going to be sorely dissapointed if you are doing it because you think its OP just because you couldn't solo drop a tank. I hope it works out for you man.

Goodness, ofcourse in my previous post I meant I have 63.5k health, not dps. Sorry for the typo or any confusion.

It's great till lag prevents you from using Blazing shield and you still die in three seconds....

Currently I'm using 5 Seducer, 5 Fasalla, 2 Bloodspawn with 5 heavy/1 med/1 light, all into health. I play around with other armor combos too but that's probably the most durable. Not using Malubeth anymore because it's bugged, but still would prefer Bloodspawn over a fixed Malubeth.

I realize this. I'm not out to gank people and I know the consequences of not running with an optimized group. My very first build for my imp. Templar was a blazing shield tank, this brings me back. It s a lot of fun. Working with 62.5k health atm.
