ESO PLUS inactive when subscribed **POSSIBLE SOLUTION**

Hi i am experiencing the ESO plus issue where even though you have an active subscription it goes inactive. I have had 6 months or no issue subscription then all of a sudden it stops working and no one understands why. I'm at my whits end and to loose all the perks i've had from day one through no fault of my own makes me not want to play the game.

We're sorry to hear that your ESO Plus has gone missing. There are a couple of reasons that this happens, and we recommend the following steps to resolve the problem:
Restart your Xbox One:
From the home screen, use the left thumbstick to go to the “Friends” list (move the left thumbstick left). The scroll down to the “settings” menu (the gear shaped icon) and select “Restart”.
If you have been charged for ESO Plus and still do not have access to services, please contact Xbox Support to cancel or refund your current subscription and start a new subscription.

My reply to there service ticket to tell them it's not resolved

I tried all the steps you have suggested but non of it worked, I got in contact with Microsoft who had information that to resolve the issue was for them to cancel my ESO subscription and then for me to renew it. Microsoft successfully cancelled the subscription but when I try and renew it via the crown store there was an error and I was unable to re-subscribe, please can we resolve this issue asap as I am unable to access any of the dlc which is where I spend most of my game time.

    I had this same issue yesterday and got it successfully resolved. Before I resubscribed I looked at my subscriptions in Xbone settings to make sure the old subscription was cancelled. My customer service rep had to physically cancel my old membership on his end to get it off my Xbox. After that I rebooted the console to make sure and then resubscribed to ESO Plus. It seems to be working so far.

    I see so many of those threads and i keep wondering - are people really that rich to throw even small amount of cash into that chaos that is now ESO servers?

    As you have read my original post my sub stopped working even when i had and active subscription, i had xbox support cancel my subscription, i then encountered another issue and that was an error when trying to resubscribe. It would come up "we have an error our end, please try again later" but i was unable to subscribe no matter what i do.

    I ended up playing the Xbox support >><< ESO support ping pong and getting nowhere.

    I then had another chat with Xbox support and after about an hour and resetting the console etc we decided that it was an issue with the latest level dashboard as i am on the preview program.

    I signed in on my other xbox running a older level dash, logged into the game and purchased ESO plus without a single hitch.

    It has taken collectively about 6-7 hours to come up with this so i thought if i can help other then its worth sharing the info.

    Also any ESO mods out there please escalate this to you support team as this was never mentioned by any of them and they probably are not aware of this issue with the dashboard preview program. It could save them and others

    I checked same thing but the guy who helped me would not take it off. He said only zos can do it. This is all rather frustrating

    What really annoys me is the toon I'm working on levelling was in anvil. So anytime I try to load him the anvil load screen comes up then it switches to grahtwood........ Then crash to dashboard. I have a dead toon till this is resolved which I explained in my support ticket. Not acknowledged because it's xbox's programme.

    The transcript above is very similar to mine. The person read everything I said, did their absolute best to help. Explained pretty well why I shouldn't re sub for 24 hours even in the face of my frustration. Really good support for what to my mind is a ZOS issue not an Xbox one. Disappointing we can't get anything more than a generic turn your Xbox off an on from game support.

    My 24 hours is up in 3 more so I will let you know how I get on with my resub

    To avoid the issues in the future when a new sub works for you disable auto renew in your Microsoft account then manually sub again when it expires.

    I have the same sub issue. If I have to cancel my subscription, I'm not resubbing. I should not have to spend half my day fixing an issue caused by this game. All other times this issue has arisen, I have not had to to jump through this many hoops. It's unacceptable that I have had to go through this once but now twice. Please fix this issue before I cancel my subscription. I know I am not alone with these feelings.

    I only subbed for the month of June. I really liked the crafting bag. But when my sub renewed yesterday I wasn't getting the Plus perks in game. Spent 45 minutes troubleshooting with Xbox Support, and they finally cancelled my subscription. I will NOT be re-subscribing. It's simply not worth the aggravation.

    ZOS, you just lost an ESO Plus subscriber.

    Been here. Done that. My sub is due tomorrow and I almost dread it. I say "almost" because atm I cannot even log into ESO but that is a different thread. Just venting, sorry. :)

    Your experience has been mine since release every time I try to sub.

    ZOS needs to remove the ESO plus and actually ask Xbox to create a real sku that's in the actual Xbox store, Xbox.com and the smartglass App Store.

    That's step 1. Until then, I've stopped playing entirely

    It is getting ridiculous to be honest, i absolutely love the game but ZOS is making it extremely difficult for me to continue playing at them moment, literally while i am writing this reply the game has crashed on me while trying to log on, i get 4 load screens from one side of Wayrest to the other. You fight invisible enemies in dungeons and lag / frame rate issues plague the game. I have done everything to combat this such uninstalling and reinstalling the game etc. to no avail, i know it's a memory issue and they are trying to fix it but DB update shouldn't have been launched to the detriment of all the other content.
