Love it. I run a stam DK with 5/5 black rose, 2 mal/2 engin, and 5/5 fasallas set combo'ed with full impen + x3 block cost reduc with 50 pts in shadow ward. Love it when I stand there and tank 30 potatoes while they cluster all around me making me feel so warrrrrm. Then they get hit by siege when I drop standard and talons and get rekt. Let dat AP rolllll in.

The moment you start building for permablock you rapidly lose the ability to kill or threaten anyone semi-competent on your own. Hence most PvP tanks can safely be ignored until everyone else is dead and then it's a matter of ganging up on those tanks to dispatch them quickly. Although It's fun getting focused by a bunch of unorganised newbies and not dying... can't deny that.

AP wise, it was very bad. Tanking is not AP rewarding as healing if you are not in a group which makes AP to feed you. For sieging a good tank is very useful for the alliance but on open field any competent player will just skip you and kill your friends.

Brutal.

At the end of the day, it's not necessarily about farming AP or getting peeps killed - it's about the fun of it all.
And standing amidst chaos, with swarms of enemies around, taunting them and surviving, that's serious fun in my book.

Would love to see the same without Malu though.

I play without malu but with BS and I can do it. But as I said this was possible because it was near the keep where you have help form your alliance with sieges. Yes it is very useful build for pushing the enemy.

Seems like there are a lot of unkillables running around Cyrodiil lately. I wouldn't exactly call this Tanking either, it's a siege decoy. Looks fun though.

Its called zergbait. When enemies start to go full potato and rush keeps with disorganized groups of 100 potatoes.... Builds like these are irresistible to potatoes. They just have to cluster all around and potato around. Then get potato'ed by siege. I rake in *** tons of AP over a span of an hour or 2 on weekends this way lol. + perma block builds are easy to run when enemy potato zergs make my game potato out with 700 ping. I just need to potato on right click with a chug of potato juice (immovability pot) and I wont get potato'ed by any potato'es. AP just potato'es in.

The bait always works too. At least once or twice a night I see a horde dog-piling on someone...and then the siege comes and bodies drop.

HP regen builds. Played one for the longest, but it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring. I ended up switching her to a tanky dps spec.

I've never made one, but thought about a few times. I don't mind the role at all, its incredibly effective as bait and there aren't nearly enough players devoted to playing a utility role in the game IMO.
