Pelinal aptitude good Zerg buster?

I've been thinking if I could use this set, get my weapon damage high on my stamina dk use proxy det, take flight and steel tornado. Would it not do a lot of damage with the combo of high weapon damage for leap and spell damage for proxy det and then steel tornado with high weapon damage for extra finishing damage. Maybe fit vicious death in there 2.

Unfortunately your proxy would be diminished by small magica pool, until they(and if) rework this Pelinal's set is trash imo

But is it tho!? Are we certain it cannot be used? I mean 100% tested certain. On ALL classes?

I *** it on stamina dk and it did not feel right (for me).
My magica based skills were 50% weaker compared to those stamina based

Has anyone used this while also having an even balance between Stamina and Magicka (with all your other buffs stacked on either Weapon or Spell Damage)? On my Templar Heavy Armor Tanky DPS I'm looking at Pelinal's hoping I could DPS with Stamina and Heal with Magicka and do both decently well. I'm not talking about as well as a pure DPS/Healer, but well enough to be effective, and with Healing reduced in Cyrodiil that's not easy to do without going all-in as a Healer.

That set definitely not gonna bust up a zerg, nor is any other. Vicious Death sorta was able to prior to the prox det nerf. Only case I can think of where Pelinal's might be interesting is a stamplar running radiant. The way radiant scales at low health, it may do a good amount of dmg with about 4.5k sp dmg.

I took a look at it. Seemed like it had some promise but having such diminished resource pools makes it kinda trash.

Once I get another maelstrom dagger I want to try out this set. Might be useful when you get that 3500 extra weapon and spell damage from an infused maelstrom dagger.
