HELPING A FRIEND TO LOGIN INTO ESO

I have a friend who asked my help, his yahoo mail got hacked and he can't receive access code to his ESO account, he can't submit a ticket or login into the forums because of that. he has however his account name and password, what are the things he can do to get access to his account again?

Hopefully one of support members will reply on this.

    Submiting a ticket would be much more effective than posting into general discussion. There's just bunch of trolls in this "general discussion cave" ^^

    Click "suspended or compromised" and fill out the form. Note that the form asks for his email address, which you said he can't access. Have him enter a different email that he CAN access (since they will use that to communicate), and be sure to mention that he lost access to his account-linked email in the comment. Provide the account-linked yahoo address and ESO username (but not password) in the comment. Make sure he explains the entire situation.

    He'll probably get a canned auto-reply first, so just have him keep responding until he gets a real person.

    If he has his password can't he just log in to his account online and change what email he has as his main email?

    Two problems with that:

    1) You can't change the email address associated with ESO without going through support.

    2) If he can't log into his account due to being locked out, then he needs the confirmation code they send in an email, which he can't access.

    he already did that but they didn't answer him.. I think I will try opening a ticket myself

    He needs to be persistent. they never answer the first time.

    You can open a ticket yourself, but I'd be willing to bet that they will refuse to talk to you at all about another person's account. I guess it doesn't hurt to try though.
